Hi!!
I have Madeleine and really like it and would like to try another - thing is I have to rely on a nice friend in the USA to order for me and send it onto me in the UK so I don't want to put her out too much (thanks Maria!!)so don't really want to get samples then have to go back for a bigger size!

Please can you make some recommendations?

I like fragrances like Patou's 'Joy', Chanel No'5, and Antonias Flowers Tiempe Passate (plus original flowers and Floret) anything by YSL smells like the cat had an accident on me though and 'Lou Lou' by Cacherel gives me a headache. Single notes I like Jasmine, Ylang Ylang, Neroli, Frangipani and Rose but also some 'foodie scents' too as long as they aren't sickly. Don't like ANYTHING by Guerlain.

Soooooo what do you think I shoudl spend my Chrissy money on ladies?
I'm thinking perhaps Isobel but bit worried it might be too spicy ala Guerlain, but the others sound gorgeous too.......HELP PLEASE!!! Big Grin

The only Guerlain fragrance I am familiar with is Shalamar (sp?) and I don't like it...

I can't make comparisons for you, but I LOVE Isobel! It's warm and rich and spicy (but not overpowering) and if you're worried about overspending, let me recommend the wonderful silver purse atomizer. It's a lovely container with a generous amount of fragrance, and at only $18, a real bargain!

What a nice friend you have, to send you Aromaleigh goodies!

Let us know what you decide to splurge on,
shari Smile

I think I'm with Shari on this one. Of the ones I tried, I like Isobel the best. I'm also a big fan of Jasmine and Ylang Ylang. Isobel on me is a heady floral.

Well in the end I got two of the purse sprays -one in Isobel and one in Adelaide (also got samples of Kristen & Dulcinea plus a mascara & the brow pencil).

Well I LOVE Adelaide - it is beautiful possibly my favourite of the whole line (even nicer than my much loved Madeleine). To me its smells like orange blossoms with a green background but it is just so fresh and perfect for spring. One of those where you keep smelling your wrist all day when you have it on! I also got lots of compliments and people asking me what fragrance I was wearing. Smile

Isobel for me is an evening fragrance and reminds me of Antonias Flowers Tiempe Passate - not that it smells the same - it doesn't! But it has the same 'feel' to it on me.

On paper I thought I wouldn't like Kristen but knowing natural fragrances can change so much on each individual I decided to try a sample. I have to say I really do like it! Hard to describe but it is one of those fragrances I feel I can wear when I'm not sure what fragrance to wear if you see what I mean. Lovely.

On paper and in the bottle, Dulcinea is my ideal perfume - on me, however, we just didn't agree. Its a hit of spicy orange then heady sweet chocolate/marshmallow - and sadly made me feel a little headachey. :O(
Think will stick to eating choccy orange not wearing it. Big Grin

Can't wait to try to try the new one when it comes out!!!

Hi Lucia, I'm excited about the new fragrance, also! It's funny you should gush about Adelaide. I was just telling my friend that I, too, had purchased a sample of Adelaide some time back (even though I'm an Isobel gal) and it was sort of a "sleeper" for me...I liked it, but then forgot I had it. I have worn Adelaide for a couple of days now and I love it. I couldn't remember the notes in it, but I was reminded of my childhood: warm, floral, innocence. Guess I'll have to buy more Adelaide, also!

I told my husband to get ready to buy when the Valentine's kits come out...I'm hoping the new fragrance will be one of the goodies!

Lucia and Shari,
Oooo I hope it comes out soon also, I have that(Giselle) and Kristen yet to try.
I tried the other four and each one, one by one, has won me over. Dulcinea was initially my favorite because I like sweet fragrances like coco and vanilla ect., however it had the least staying power.
I liked Isobel from the start and it definately stays with me, I have really grown to love this, also found it useful when it came to my hubby, he likes it! Wink.
Madeleine and Adelaide did not have very favorable first trys but the more I explored the complexity and as I wore them, I have come to like them both quite a bit.
I really didn't think I was going to like the natural fragrances at first but now I am so glad I tried. I think I am hooked.
