Hi all. I found this site looking for natural fragrances. I love fragrance and perfumes, but in the last couple of years, my old favorites started giving me headaches. I thought maybe it was alcohol, but have used some oils that also cause a headache, but I do think they had some synthetic fragrance. I'm thinking these natural fragrances may work for me, but wondered if anyone here that has problems wearing other perfumes had good luck with some or all of these or still got a headache with any. Thanks for your input. I am spending a small fortune just sampling fragrances in hopes of finding some I can wear.

Hi Melanie!

I used to not have a problem wearing perfumes, but while I was pregnant my fave perfume gave me a headache. I had some of the AL Kristen fragrance (my favorite AL perfume) and I did not get any headaches with it. Also to make it last a little longer (since natural fragrances do not last as long as others) I would use some lotion that did not have any fragrance and that would help the perfume soak into my skin and it would last longer.

HTH!

Hi Melanie,
I too have had sensitivities to synthetic fragrances namely as headaches and general malaise. I've been using AL's natural fragrances for 2-3 years now without incident. There isn't a one of them I don't like. I tend to be one of those to change fragrances with seasons and/or moods quite often. I do have a favorite however and that is Madeleine, it's my great anytime, no thought needed scent. I really like Adelaide in the Summer (on a sultry summer evening especially). Isobel is a fav of mine for the transitioning seasons of Spring/Fall with it's soft florals accented with subtle spicy tones. Dulcinea I love too and is growing on me by the week, it may soon rival Madeleine as my signature. Kristen is an all out evening spectacular fragrance!!!

Classic pale Ivory with freckles & pink flush tones. Now that I'm gradually graying, my hair color is constantly evolving. Currently a dark golden brunette (think a darker Mocha with some lighter golden brown highlights). Blue/Grey Eyes with flecking of brown, gold & khaki in the iris.

With fall finally settling in here, I'm about a 2 level Y(3)/L(1) at the moment, wearing more of the neutral tones-warmer neutral tones. In my natural state, I'm a true Winter from CMB. But I can easily get away mixing things up seasonally. White Gold/Platinum/Silver for jewelry, but can (and do) easily wear copper, rose gold and antiqued gold tones.

I can't wear perfumes/body lotions, etc, anything with unnatural or synthetic/artificial fragrance. They give me headaches. But all of Kristen's natural perfumes suit me just fine.
