I've been looking for non-synthetic freesia, either essential oil or oil diluted. Everything i find on the net is synthetic, Does anyone know where I can find the natural oil?
Thanks

I usually go to my local whole foods market for essential oils, but you can do a web search for these as well. Check the internet, also, for bad quality oils so that you can get a description of what a bad one smells like.
For example, a poor quality/spoiled bottle of frankinsence will smell like paint thinner.
Kristen smells some wonderfully described perfume oils on this website - check those out, too. I have not tried them yet, but plan to....

Thanks!
I actually have Madeleine, Kristen, and Adelaide.
I love all of them for different reasons, but I'm still missing the Freesia. I'm wondering if its one of those flowers that can't be made into an oil or absolute. I'll keep looking on the net. A while ago Kristen posted a link for essentialoils.org, I think, and I couldn't find it on there.

Thanks again, I'll keep looking

Freesia comes, predominantly, as a fragrance oil. The biology of freesia changes from the live flowers to when it has been picked. Therefore, it's medicinal properties suffer.

Personally, I get most of my oils and blends from http://www.downtoearthoils.com/. It is an awesome store based out of Wilmington, NC and the owner is a phenomenal lady (Eva) who always makes the time to answer questions. She carries a Freesia frangrance oil if you don't have any luck elsewhere.
