Hello!
I ordered a sample of this with my last order as I loved the description of it!
I have to admit that I didn't like this in the bottle at all and neither did my husband. However I use a lot of another brand of pure oil fragrance so I know how they can change completely on the skin so I tried it on. OMG! Chocolate orange as a top note!? This improved the instant it touched my skin and after an hour or so I loved it - couldn't stop sniffing my wrist!!!LOL!

Anyway just thought I'd post so that anyone who orders this and smells it in the bottle and thinks 'Nope not for me' will be encouraged to actually try wearing it.

A very unusual and yummy fragrance!

Thus is the magic of natural fragrance! THey bloom and develop on the skin so beautifully. They also individualize more than synthetic scent, where "what you smell is what you get," in the bottle, in the magazine, on a piece of paper, on your friend, on the mean lady down the hall from you, and your mother in law and on you...

Individualization is great!

My coloring - Fair, naturally curly dark red hair, freckles (light golden), combo to oily skin, use 1W Glissade and/or Voile, although I can and have worn 1Y, 1Y/L, and 1Y/L/00 at different times. Would describe my coloring as neutral - not a classic Autumn, not really a Winter, maybe more of a Late Fall?

I adore Madeleine and Isobel as well - treated myself to a bottle of each during the big sale last fall!

I love Kristen in the bottle...but it doesn't agree with my chemistry. It turns very weird-smelling on me. I was greatly disappointed, because I love the spicy scent!

Adelaide is a lovely light floral. And Dulcinea is delicious! I will probably eventually get a bottle of both.

I had the same experience as luciaw. I thought ugh, they all smell the same and bad. But I tried each one. They magically change on your skin. The scent mixes with your own chemistry and it becomes a unique delicious experience. My only complaint is that they all seem to be on the warm side of the spectrum. I would like to see some new florals with higher top notes in there.

Madeleine is my absolute favorite of Kristen's fragrances. I like it just as much in the bottle as I do on my skin! LOL
