I am so excited that Giselle is finally here. The description is beautiful, Kristen.
Geranium and Grapefruit are two of my favorite scents. I can't wait to see if Giselle and i get along!
Yay!!

I'm totally jazzed about Giselle too! And to have 3 choices - full bottle, purse sprayer or sample vial is wonderful. I'm getting the purse sprayer cuz it looks so cute and if I really love Giselle (which by description alone I feel I will) I'll invest in the bigger bottle in the near future.

Thanks, Kristen, sounds like you outdid yourself with this one!

This may be a dumb question, but does the grapefruit scent smell like the actual fruit or is it a general citrus-y scent?

I'll order a sample of Giselle and give it a whirl. I'm enjoying playing with the other samples, about which I'll post once I'm done. I'm wearing one perfume all day to see how I like it and then after I try them all, I will repeat to get a better sense of how they compare to each other.

Yeaaaaaa! Clap Finally here! It sounds wonderful! Cloud 9

Sotisse,
Grapefruit essential oil is from the peel(the stuff that comes out of the peel when you peel it). It does smell like grapefruit, not a general citrus.

hmmm... I dislike the smell of grapefruits.

I'll still try a sample of Giselle because mixed with other scents and my skin chemistry, it might smell completely different than just grapefruit alone.

Madeleine has grapefruit in it that I don't smell at all, so it may be the same with Giselle.

Sotisse,
Also remember that grapefruit is a top note and dissapates quickly. Top notes last on the body as long as 30 minutes leaving you with the heart and bass notes which make up the body and foundation of a fragrance.

Ordered my Giselle sample tonight! Yay!

Speaking of grapefruit, wasn't there a study some time back that found when women wore grapefruit fragrance, they were perceived to be YOUNGER than their actual age??

Awaiting my vial of Giselle to fly across the state line and the onset of my second youth!

Well that must explain why I always feel younger and fresher when I'm wearing my Madeleine! If it can convince me, than I'm sure I must put that vibe out too, LOL!!!!
Wink Ella

PS- Giselle is on my must try soon list for certain!

Classic pale Ivory with freckles & pink flush tones. Now that I'm gradually graying, my hair color is constantly evolving. Currently a dark golden brunette (think a darker Mocha with some lighter golden brown highlights). Blue/Grey Eyes with flecking of brown, gold & khaki in the iris.

With fall finally settling in here, I'm about a 2 level Y(3)/L(1) at the moment, wearing more of the neutral tones-warmer neutral tones. In my natural state, I'm a true Winter from CMB. But I can easily get away mixing things up seasonally. White Gold/Platinum/Silver for jewelry, but can (and do) easily wear copper, rose gold and antiqued gold tones.

yowzaa, I love vanilla and ylang ylang together. Giselle sounds sexy as well as fresh and young. Geraniums are one of my favorite floral smells too! I was hoping we'd get a lemon sugar type scent, but I'm just as excited about this floral blend. Can't wait to try a sample.

A fresh, lemony scent would be wonderful. I love the smell of fresh lemon in the summer...

Wow Kristen, I don't know how you can be thinking of new fragrance ideas when you just released Giselle. So much creativity and productivity in one woman floors me! Pass some of that productivity around, eh? ;-)

I would really love a scent like that though. Lemon essential oil is so delicious, and I've smelled it before with creamy vanilla, sugar scents (not sure what natural essential oils smell like this, maybe a sweet white flower, or is there brown sugar EO?)
