I ordered a sample vial of Isobel last week, and I love it!! It's such a unique, spicy scent and unlike any I've ever worn. When I fist apply it, it's predominantly spicy and sharp, but it quickly mellows to an almost patchouli-like scent with vanilla tones. Very sensual. It smells different every time I catch a whiff, very cool! This was the first natural fragrance I've ever tried, and I was pleasantly surprised. It's intriguing how multilayered and complex this scent is. It also lasted a lot longer than I expected. I think it would also smell lovely on a guy (like that boyfriend I don't have, haha Wink).

Isobel and Kristin are my two favorites out of the natural frangrance collection. They both have spicy notes that I simply adore. I only wear natural fragrances and essential oil blends. They always smell so much better to me than regular purfumes and they are easier to get away with when you work where perfumes and bold smells are undesireable. Plus, it is less likely others will have an eversion or allergy to smells that are not synthetic. Smile Yay, Isobel!

I'm curious to see how long the fragrances last on your skin.
Obviously, they last much shorter than synthetic frangrances, but I'm curious. I love how natural scents smell so unique on everyone.
So, about how long before you reapply?
Thanks.
Kathy

Kathy, I leave my house around 4:00 every afternoon, and I put on my Isobel last thing before I walk out the door. It smells the strongest for the 1st 2.5 hours or so, then I notice it fading a slight bit. There are still some traces left by the time I leave work (around 10PM), so I'm really pleased with its staying power, considering how hot it gets where I work. I was expecting it to last for a much shorter period of time, given what I've read about natural fragrances, so I was really pleased with how long it lasts. I haven't tried applying it in the morning, so don't know how it would do over the course of a full day, but being at work for 6-7 hours, I haven't felt the need to reapply. Smile It's cool how the scent "morphs" over time as I'm wearing it.

I agree. I usually apply fragrance to my neck, wrists, and behind the knees and find that I don't have to re-apply until about 4-6 hours later... and that's just to keep the scent at the most potency.

Erin, thanks for the review on Isobel. It sounds like a scent that I would really enjoy.

I hear that putting a spritz or dash of frangrance on the back of your neck at the hairline will help the scent to last longer because your hair will absorb some of the scent. Not sure if that's entirely true since I haven't looked it up at all, but I do it anyway Smile
