I can't recommend this fragrance enough. I have been wearing it every day for a while now since the weather warmed up, and I get compliments every time I go out. Everything from "What smells so good?" to "Where did you buy that?" It's actually the first time I can recall getting complimented on a fragrance, so it must like my body chemistry. It's a master blend. Warm and sweet, but not too sweet. A bit floral, but not overwhelming. A bit fruity, but not remotely teeny bopper-ish. When I first spray it on I smell the oakmoss and something herbaly, the Angelica maybe? On the dry down the vanilla and orange come out on my skin, but it's nothing like a creamscicle! It's way more sophisticated than that. I often have a problem with synthetic fragrances where the base notes can linger for days but smell rank and synthetic. There is none of that gross-ness with any of the AL fragrances. If you haven't tried Adelaide, you *need* a sample for spring. It's so warm, I'd wear it in the winter too.

Coloring: 1.5 level skin with yellow undertones, hazel eyes, medium golden/reddish brown hair color. Surprisingly, I look best in neutral and cool-toned makeup. Love greys and pinks. Current Favorites: Magnetism gel liner, Rocks! Rouge in Breathless, Pinafore Color Cream, Adelaide EDT, Delicate Vanilla Bean Lipbalm, Ondberry and Maylily Spring Solstice!

Thanks for your opinion on this fragrance!
I have about 3 over the counter perfumes that are sitting under the sink because my hubbie gets a stuff up head every time I spray it on - even just a teensy spray!
This would make a nice gift from him to me, I think. Smile
Must let him know and remind him...often.

I was very surprised to find that this fragrance smells COMPLETELY different on my skin than in the bottle. When I first smelled it in the bottle, it reminded me a little bit of jeannate (which smells pretty but reminds me of my grandma who has worn it as long as I can remember); however, about a minute after putting it on it got much sweeter. My bf says it smells like chocolate on me. I've been wearing it for about 5 hours, and it seems to have an even lighter, airier scent (maybe because it's faded a little, but I like it the best now that I have all day). I realize that one of the perks of natural fragrance is how it reacts to each individual differently, but I was still really surprised with (and happy about) the difference on my skin. Overall, this might not be MY perfect scent, but it is definitely lovely.

The smell of this reminds me of summer, fresh, green and lightly floral. Makes me want to run across the lawn in a pretty dress and bare feet.

Yes, I know exactly what you mean, desert sage! That's a perfect description.

OK, you sold me... I love fragrance. I will have to add that to an order very soon. I was meaning to try them, but wasn't sure, as I have tried other "naturals" before and the end notes are just horrible for me.
Thank you!
I am definitely going to give this one a try now!

Let us know how you like it, Debb! Madeliene is pretty too if you like foody scents.
