i'm visiting with an old highschool friend tomorrow. last time i saw him was at our 10 yr reunion nearly 2 years ago and because of work schedules, moves, family difficulties and the like we were just unable to find a good time to get together. so, last minute we made plans to get together tomorrow afternoon for a glass of wine to catch up.

so... anyone want to gimme some makeup ideas? i'm wearing a black blouse, an ankle length pencil skirt with a pair of granny boots.

i was gonna dye my hair black yesterday but was too sick so am gonna go for more earthy tones like solange instead of using black out, etc. sincemy hair is more burgundy for the time being. good choice zhariel.

any other ideas would be welcome. haven't really done anything creative lately from being sick so any other ideas welcomed. any colors you'd pair with solange? blush, finishing powder? i usually go for the peaches and cream urfp but i have samples of pretty much everything.

Would Rococo work for you with Solange? Or Corset?
Those are the two I'd immediately reach for, I think.

Verve might work out well too. Do you have Le Mystere 100, as that would be nice with solange. It is lighter than chocolate heart with a little less shimmer

I don't know if this works for you, Nadja, but I love divine intervention GL w/solange BN - the colours kind of play off each other; I've also paired bette w/solange b/c on me bette has a greenish cast to it and again works nicely as a foil for the green sparks in solange...

corset looks so pretty on your milky-white skin, and I love metamorphosis on you - it gives you a perfect pallor but w/o looking like death warmed over... LOL

thanx for the tips ladies. i was actually really happy with how it turned out. didn't get a chance to take pics though.

on my eyes i wore nude frost from crease to brow and carbon from lashline to crease, blended just a tiny bit. on the inner half i wore solange from lashline and lightly into the crease and then drama queen cocoa on outside half from lashline into crease then smudged heavily on bottom lash line. corset on cheeks, lips lined with poppy with crush on top. wore peaches and cream urfp and a little metamorphosis.

yeah, i had a great time. it's been so long since i've gotten out of the house for fun and not a dr's appointment. isn't it strange that you can meet up with an old friend you hadn't seen in 12 years and it's as if no time had passed at all? well, like i said before i did see him at my 10 yr reunion but that's not the same.
