my aunt's wedding is in a week and although i've gotten a new dress for the occasion i'm not really sure what i'm gonna do for makeup. it's gonna be on the beach so i thought i'd go with something bronze or coppery. what do you think? here's what i'm wearing:





30 yrs old ~ starving artist ~ hair: black (naturally dark brunette) ~ eyes: hazel ~ skintone: extremely fair with freckles, burns easily, and quite sensitive ~ 50/50 mix of G-X & G-1WL ~ http://www.myspace.com/nadja_sabine

I am soo in love with that dress....I am definitely seeing a soft,light catching metallic around your eyes.That will look pretty reflecting the light.Maybe some type of highlight or shimmer around your temples?Definitely an elemental lustre shadow.

I think bronze when I hear beach and see the dress & shoes.

gilt on the inner lid
bronze on the rest of the lid
darkened with either rockbottom or ebony

melissa ~ i got that dress on ebay for under $20. just look under black maxi dress. you'll get a ton of results.

I would say go with silvers (to match the buckles on the shoes since I'm sort of matchy matchy LOL) [pewter,coriander?)

I haven't tried it yet, but I do like Torrid (elemental lustre), or copper PH, or even fox to highlight (never foiled fox so idk what it'd look like wet..might be pretty cool)

maybe add a little hibiscus for a tropical feel on your eyes or your pouty lips? Smile

k.caballero ~ i'm very matchy matchy myself. Wink from the pic the buckles do look silver but are actually more of a bronze. i do love pewter though.

ella ~ i was thinking about getting out the kinetic cheek glisten myself. LOVE that stuff and haven't worn it in a while. perhaps highlighted with precious or allure high on the cheek bones/temples and of course a good dose of twilight lustre mixed in with my body lotion for some shimmery goodness on my arms and chest.

am gonna try out a few looks with all your suggestions within the next few days. will let you know what i end up with. Smile
