Dodo PM'd me a few weeks ago asking for a cyber makeover. While it's usually much easier for me to do a makeover on someone I know through the forums - a piece of your own personality helps me form a more clear idea - I told her I'd give it a try. She sent a pic, and I hope I can persuade her to post it here too, she's just so beautiful!!

She said she really doesn't wear makeup, she's busy at work, but wants to experiment. So I'll do two looks, one that she can wear to work and another that's a bit more glammed up for hitting the clubs on Friday night! She's also young - 21 - but feels she looks younger and wants to look closer to her age.

For the daytime look, something soft that won't take too much time but give you a little extra polish.

To conceal any dark circles, a little cream concealer - if you haven't tried it yet, either Pink or Light should work well. Just apply a TINY bit under your eyes and blend in.

You all know I'm terrible at foundation shades, so dodo, whatever you normally use, go ahead and apply. (She's very fair, probably a level 1, maybe with some Alabaster mixed in, with lovely green eyes).

Cheeks - I'd like something soft and pretty, Star Bright is the first thing that comes to mind, but it's not listed for sale individually yet (Miss K said she's working on it!). Try a nice light color like Candy, Pomegranate, or Beauteous Pure Rouge. Just a little on the apples of your cheeks, swept upwards along your cheekbones. Finish off with a dusting of finishing powder like the Ultra Resolution Finishing Powder or try some Cherry Blossom Divine Radiance for an extra hint of color.

Eyes - Apply Pink Negligee Eye Plush all along your lid, and just up into the crease. This will give you a nice bit of color but not be overwhelming for a work look. For the crease, apply some Jolie Bete Noire lightly, using a fiber optic brush. You don't need much, just blend it in well. Add a browbone color - you can either use Pink Negligee or try something in the cream family, like Fiona. Either will work fine! For a liner, a thin line of Black Cherry along the tops only. Mascara - black or very dark brown, both tops and bottoms, lighter on the bottoms.

Lips - A nice light stain like FictionRomance or HeadOverHeels Rocks Lip Tint will give you some color but again, not be overwhelming for work.

You can easily darken this look if you're heading out directly after work. Just darken up that Jolie, add a little swoosh of it under your lower lashes, and refresh your lip tint.

Normally you'd think opposites on the color wheel to enhance your eyes - since yours are green, purple would be the obvious choice, but I wanted pinks for daytime. I think it'll add the perfect amount of color to your face, and is work appropriate.

For weekends out, here's where I'd like to play with a darker look. Dodo tells me she's comfortable with a darker/heavier look.

There's lots of looks that spring to mind, and again, I usually like to get the feel of a person to know what's best suited to their personality. So let's give this one a try, no guarantees it'll be perfect, but makeup is all about fun!

Starting with a bare face, let's apply the cream concealer under the eyes again, then foundation.

Blush - because she looks young, I don't want to go too heavy but still want a nice flush of color. What else but Rocks Rouge? I'd like SinisterRouge, applied very lightly, using a fiber optic brush is best. You might even want to apply it under your foundation. Right on the apples and just up your cheekbones. Again, nice and light, I don't want it to look like bright red streaks! You can add a little Twilight Sparkle along the tops of your cheekbones too, for a little extra glitz. I usually use White Wedding or glam glitter, but Sparkle works perfectly.

Eyes - let's do a smokey sort of eye. Apply Black Out gel liner along tops only. If you normally use a base to hold your shadow in place all day, go ahead and put that on, or use a cream shadow. A nude shade will work fine all over.

Apply Tapestry Opulent Lustre along the lid, not quite up to the crease. Next add some Bellflower Spring Solstice shadow in the crease, blend it down into the Tapestry. I'd like to add another shade, a lighter purple or even pinky-purple above the Bellflower, up into the outer 1/3 to 1/2 of your browbone. Something like Pandora, Ophelia, or even Tamarind Opulent Lustre (Tamarind applied very lightly, just for a hint of color). Finally a little cream color on the inside 1/2 to 2/3 of the browbone, Fiona is one of my faves for this area. Black mascara, tops and bottoms. Still lighter on bottoms, but heavy on tops.

Lips - BlankGeneration lip tint topped with just a tiny bit of StillinHollywood or DirtyDeeds shadow, brushed on sheerly but enough to darken up the color. Add some clear gloss over it to set and make it shiny.

For your evening out, I'd love a pinup style wiggle dress.

Collectif's Stella dress is a great one, but if you aren't into the grey skull print, there's also a flocked or plain version! A pair of pumps and you're all set for a night on the town.

Dodo, I hope you'll post some pics so everyone can see your lovely face!!

Meanwhile, enjoy these suggestions, and I hope they work for you.
