Hi Ladies!!!! My cousin Sari is getting married at the end of August and I've already bought my dress for the event. I am just having trouble deciding what to do as far as my makeup. The dress is a true red, it is a strapless, tube top style dress and I have a black shrug I plan to throw on top. What suggestions do you ladies have? I never really wear red, so I am at a loss. Confused Confused Confused Thanks!!!

oooh, a red dress! you'll look smashing in it i am quite sure.

i'd LOVE to see you wearing a red lippie since you have such gorgeous lips. if you think a red lipstick is too much then you can always wear gloss or lollypop color creme to make it more wearable. i'd keep the eyes toned down but still dramatic. you could always pull out the false lashes & go for a dita von teese look. here's a few pics and there's tons of pin-up youtube video tutorials you could check out as well if you are interested.

The pin up look is a great idea, and I have been thinking about finding the perfect red lipstick lately. I tend to go for dramatic and colorful eyes and play down the lips so this would be a good change for me as well. I even have the beauty mark in the right place for this look! Now, to learn how to get those gorgeous retro waves in my hair.
