As you can see i'm new to the forum but have been stalking the boards and reading all the exciting posts. I decided to start with the makeover one

I'm mainly curious about what would look best on me since i have just began to seriously wear makeup. In the picture above i am wearing no makeup except for day old eyeliner

I'm allergic to traditional makeup and am so excited to be able to wear something thats great for my sensitive skin!

Get samples of all different colors and see what you like. There's a different collection on sale each week, so you can get loads of stuff for not a lot of money. And try everything - many ladies have been surprised to find colors they didn't think they'd like look fantastic on them!

I'm by no means an expert, but I do like to play around and give makeovers in a darker style. I'd be happy to add you, I'm working on someone now and have one other person who expressed interest. Just let me know!

you are such a beauty! since you have some pinkish undertones to your skin i bet you'd look amazing in purple, blue-toned reds, and pinks which would make those blue-green eyes of yours pop... but definitely grab samples of any colors that call out to you! is there any particular style you are looking to try?

MoonEcho, You are very ethereal looking and beautiful, what gorgeous eyes! My first thought is for you to go straight to the Rocks collection, I could see you wearing a lot of those vivid colors. Sample destinationunknown, spaceoddity, whitewedding, adrenachrome (or Fume from the Elemental Lustres collection, you need at least one silver!), blackplanet, iseered, raspberryberet, spellbound, ozone, fanclub, stillinhollywood.

You would also be stunning with a very light dusting of Wildflower Rocks! Sonic rouge.

I agree with everyone else -- with your lovely pale skin and dark hair, you can really rock some brighter or darker eyeshadows! Or you can always keep it more subtle, of course! I especially agree that pinks, reds, and purples will look great on you! Oranges, peaches, and coppers can also be great for blue eyes, but with your black hair and what appears to be cool skintone, I'm not sure if those colors would work quite as well for you (though you can certainly toss in a few samples if you like!) For a more subtle look, soft taupes and greys might work well for you.

I recommend checking out the Shop by Color page and picking out a few colors from each category that look interesting to you. If you want a few more subtle colors, the new Eye Plush is not part of the Shop by Color page yet so take a look at them too!

For lips and cheeks, anything pink, purple, or muave would probably be lovely for you Try the Rocks Sonic Rouges in Wildflower (don't be scared!), Breathless, or Candy-O -- since they are so bright, you'll want to apply them very lightly with a Fiber Optic Brush and/or wear them underneath mineral foundation. You can also sample the corresponding Rocks Lip Tints -- even though they look bright, they actually go on very sheer! Notorious is absolutely gorgeous and looks great on almost everyone! I bet you'll also like some of the Gothic Lolita Color Cremes -- Pinafore, Lollypop, and Melancholia (which actually goes on as a lovely berry pink) would all be lovely on you!
