Hi ladies! I haven't been posting on here recently - but I have been trying to keep up with all of you. I was recently inspired when I received the "make your own gloss" kit in the mail.
I could have sworn someone else started a thread where people could post their favorite color blend - but I can't seem to find it now. Do threads ever just disappear into thin air?
Anyway - I was a mixing fool last night and came up with the most LOVELY color. It's the color I have always imagined and never quite found:
DirtyDeeds Rocks with a bit of Burnt Roses. It came out a heavenly wine color with a touch of an earthy base - LOVE LOVE LOVE!
I also followed the formula for the candy cane lip color - as they were sold out by the time I went to order. I put a little bit too much pigment in this one - but it is beautiful all the same.
I will post pictures of this color at some point in the new year once we have moved into our new house

That was me *blushes* I was surfing 2 forums at once, and was deleting a thread in one forum and replying in the other, and got them mixed up. Needless to say I got a few odd replies in the other forum that is not about makeup.

I did a lovely mix last night too, though I didn't do exact measurements.. I used Fox, Angel Wing, Watermelon, Garnet, Ambrette and Hibiscus and it came out a lovely shimmery coppery coral color. I wish I had Kristen's talent for color descriptions. I'll have to take a pic of the jar soon.

I love Dirty Deeds as a lippy, I'll have to mix in some Burnt Roses & give it a try!!

Michelle - that makes sense now - I was scratching my head for quite a while trying to figure out where that thread went. Too funny!
Your mix sounds so pretty - I may try it. I had no idea how much fun this little kit would be.
Cin - DirtyDeeds by itself is also gorgeous - it reminds me of the Enchant gloss.
