Hey ladies,

Once a month, my stay-at-home moms group hosts a "mom's night out," which means we get together and do something fun sans kids and husbands. I haven't been able to go in a few months due to scheduling conflicts but I went last night (I really needed it). I used this opportunity to have some fun with my makeup outside of my normal everyday neutrals.

Some of you have gently (and some not so gently ) encouraged me to have fun with more shimmer and glimmer so that's just what I did.

Eyes (in the order I applied them):

• Awe elemental lustre e/s lid and crease
  
• Rockbottom rocks e/s wet lined top and bottom lash lines
  
• Awe wet lined inner 1/3 top and bottom lash lines and inner corner (what a dramatic highlight it was)
  
• Then I came across my sample of Pleasuredome rocks e/s (my first time testing and using it) and just had to use it somewhere because it's so unusual and beautiful so I wet lined that and winged it out on the outer 1/3 of upper lashes and lower lashes (no winging there though)
  
• I finished off the eyes with Whitewedding rocks on the brow bone and inner 1/3 of lid to blend

Face/Cheeks/Lips/Body:

• 2y Glissade mixed with a few sprinkles of Seraph luminesce divine powder
  
• Firewoman rocks rouge topped with a light dusting of Kindle perle powder on cheeks
  
• Limbo elemental lustre nourishing color creme on lips
  
• Pure Opal body powder dusted on shoulders, arms and decolletage (the effect was subtle yet beautiful - like fairy dust)

I wish I had taken a photo but I just didn't have time.

I KNOW you looked incredible......but you do realize you'll have to recreate this and post a pic! It's not fair to tease us with such wonderful combinations and not show us too!!!

Oooh that does sound pretty, I bet you looked great! I don't have pleasuredome but I looked it up and it sounds pretty!

And I agree with Cin, I'd love it if you had time to recreate the look and post pics

Sounds glamorous! I bet you WOWed them!! That sounds like fun, mom's night out. Can't wait to see it.

No. They didn't. Most of my SAHM friends don't wear makeup and aren't into fashion so they probably didn't even notice. There are one or two friends (who weren't there last night) that are more like me (enjoy clothes, makeup and dressing up) and they are very generous with compliments and they probably would have noticed and said something. The others who happened to be there last night, not so much. Or maybe I didn't look as good as I thought I did so they figured if you can't say something nice. . .
