What are some good mineral mixes have you come up with? This can be eyes, cheeks, lips and face.
(When 400 eyeshadows just isn't enough TeeHeeHee....)

So far I have only mixed cheek colors:

Verve+Innocence 50/50 (My favorite cheek color!)
Verve+Corset 50/50
Pomegranate+Nectar 50/50
Pomegranate+Romance at dusk 50/50

I'm out of rosewood blush right now, so I have been mixing champagne blush and cashmere pure rouge, it isn't the same but I get a nice pink color that isn't too warm or cool.

My fav shadows always have some sparkle or sheen so for some fav mixes: PH Fox with PH Meadow winds up being a golden taupey shade... just gorgeous. Passion mixed with Foxglove, Mocha with Khaki or Loden, Charcoal with Sapphire or Indigo, Raisin with Foxglove, Gilt with Damask or Fox PH, Glow with Damask. I also really love mixing mattes with frosts Fawn with Glow, Umber with Charcoal FES or Pewter PH, Midnight with Heaven PH, Fog with Nanette, Ebony with Persephone, Ice with Fox or Damask. One of my all time fav all out sparkles looks is Maiden mixed with WhiteWedding and Glimmer mixed with Trifle.

I also love mixing the PB's in the Winter Pink with Mauve, Pink with Spice, Spice with Rosewood, Rosewood with Peach, Champagne with Mauve. I also really like Innocence PR with Pomegranate and Verita with Rosette. Nectar with Romance at Dusk, Candy with Nectar, Ambrosia and Beauteous. I don't have the Rocks! Sonic Rouges yet, but I'd be a mixing fool with those with one another and with the PR's. I also haven't had the chance to dabble with the new Rocks! Glam Glitters but can see mixing those with Rocks! ES and with Mattes, PH's, the Lustres and Satin Petals in a nano-second.

Hope that fuels the creativity a bit!
Wink Ella

Classic pale Ivory with freckles & pink flush tones. Now that I'm gradually graying, my hair color is constantly evolving. Currently a dark golden brunette (think a darker Mocha with some lighter golden brown highlights). Blue/Grey Eyes with flecking of brown, gold & khaki in the iris.

With fall finally settling in here, I'm about a 2 level Y(3)/L(1) at the moment, wearing more of the neutral tones-warmer neutral tones. In my natural state, I'm a true Winter from CMB. But I can easily get away mixing things up seasonally. White Gold/Platinum/Silver for jewelry, but can (and do) easily wear copper, rose gold and antiqued gold tones.

Holy Minerolas Batman!! Instead of a Dancing Queen, Ella's a Mixing Queen!! WOW!

Faves I've found so far...(I'm still trying new things!! I only have one face and still have a list about 3 miles long of things I want and samples I haven't even touched yet!)

I do all my mixes 50/50 so far...

Cherry bomb rocks rouge/Verve (great for my 3N face!)
Wildflower/sinisterrouge (perfect cool for me!)

illuminator/medium bronzer (this is about 1/3 bronzer, 2/3 illuminator) this is my very basic "jane's mix" powder and an every day go-to...but a lot of days i'll take a few sprinkles of this, and a few sprinkles of a coordinating perle and lightly dust all over...beautiful!

I think I've mixed most of my Rocks colors with various shades of white - White Wedding, White Riot, Moon, Odette, Glimmer - simply to make blending a little easier. I've also mixed a bit of various black shades into other colors (usually purples) to darken them up a bit.

I love a bit of glam glitter or shimmery color mixed in to a lippy to give it an added kick. No particular colors, I just grab whatever colors appeal to me on any given day...although I really should write down favorite combinations!

Hm, I rarely mix (other than foundations!) but I do sometimes layer multiple colors. If the layers are sheer, it ends up having the same effect as mixing, without wasting product if you mix up something you don't like! Smile But if you apply the top layer too heavily, then you'll probably just see the top product without seeing the other one very much. However, I think that if you mixed any of these color combos, it'd look about the same as layering:

Innocence PR layered over a too-dark or too-bright blush to tone it down and make it more sparkly. I usually layer Innocence over Verve, occasionally Pomegranate. (Hmm, I just had a random thought: Epitome is too dark for me, maybe I should mix it with Innocence!)

Moon PH works well to add shimmer to a cool matte shadow, especially lighter matte shadows. Layering Moon over Vapor yields a lovely, shimmery ice blue. Smile Gilt or Wizard Gold work well layered over warm colors, or layered over cool or neutral colors to warm them up a bit. (I don't like matte shadows so I always layer something shimmery on top of my matte samples!)

I'll also use Moon to lighten shades, like Moon over Edie makes a shimmery pale pink. Moon with Lucky makes a light green similar to Dew.

Sometimes I layer a bit of Fiona or Daphne on top of a highlighter shade like Moon, Wizard Gold, or Alchemy to tone down the highlighter (but it's still somewhat of a highlighter since it's lighter than my skin). This is especially useful for under the brows, when I don't want a really bright highlighter there. (If you have darker skin than pale me, you could try a darker neutral like Damask or Fox mixed with your highlighter.)

Edie layered over Wish makes a lovely warm pink / peachy-pink -- warmer than Edie alone, but pinker than Wish alone!

Thanx Wish I managed the mixing queen title year round, LOL! Most of my mixing happens in the fall/winter months as a creative outlet. With the kiddos back to school, I usually manage to carve out a few slices of time for myself more often. Due to the time of the year and seasonal influence I have a tendancy to mute the deeper/purer hues or pale down the lighter brighter shadows due to skintone changes. Hence my tendancy for mixing PBs and lightening up some of the deeper rouges too.

The sky is the limit with so many colors to choose from for mixing plus all of the different levels of sparkle, matte, frosts, etc. There really is no end to the possible combinations, especially considering how often Miss K and AL put forth new creations. I know I'll never run out of mixing potential.

I also have a tendancy to layer things first and then mix them up as it's a close way to evaluate the potential in a mix, though it isn't always goof proof. It's a good way to test something "daring" out at least before parting with some precious minerals that are holy grail shades for oneself. Even the goofs though have wonderful potential. I've given many to friends and family to get them hooked knowing that my goof shade is a perfect look for another lady. I also have found that they make great secondary mixers sometimes adding something entirely different in to create a new liner or a "sugared frosting" effect for lips, etc.

I spent about 2-3 hours today mixing odds and ends samples and came up with a couple of pretty colors.

Mystery, Lavande, a touch of Wildflower rouge, and a pink shimmer I have that's probably close to Angel Wing gave me something that looks like a lighter, cooler Bellflower.

The other one I mixed today is a nice pale silvery green-blue (much more green). I haven't tested it on my eyes yet, but on the back of my hand foiled it's gorgeous. I mixed Dew, Agate, Metamorphases, and more of that pink shimmer. It was about equal amounts, although a touch more Agate than Dew, and more pink (Angel Wing?) than Metamorphases.

An easy and pretty lip color is Tea Rose with Corset. Nice peachy/red/pink with a dewy metallic touch. I keep some mixed in a small case that I can dip my chapstick in.
