I was not able to wear any blue shades for over a decade. But thanks to AL, here's my little blue dream: Bluebell Satin Petal under the brows and inner corners. Jupiter Pure Hue on the lid and outer corners. Black liner and mascara, as almost always =) This makes my eyes look very green, especially in the first photo (no flash).

=== Blonde, then brunette, now a very blond blonde again!. Greenish-grey eyes. 1 and/or 2YL. Current favorites: Elemental Lustres, Opulent Lustres! Especially Azalea, Ginger, Bamboo, Entangle, Alloy and Astonish! And then some.. ===

Mint, this looks so pretty! Fresh, young, delightful, and you've got that awesome liner to make things just a little bit dangerous!

Isn't is interesting how many of us "good girls" really want to LOOK dangerous, even if we're not so much? I myself long to be sophisticated and enigmatic - it's become a bit of a joke at our house. When I do a makeup that is different from the norm, Michael always purrs, "OOh - you look sophisticated and enigmatic." I giggle, because usually I just look like a poseur (I think). But for those of us in this camp, is there really anything worse than being told you look "cute?"

I've never been into cute.

Dangerous, dangerous eyes, Mint. Better be careful in choosing at whom you will flash those beauties!

My coloring - Fair, naturally curly dark red hair, freckles (light golden), combo to oily skin, use 1W Glissade and/or Voile, although I can and have worn 1Y, 1Y/L, and 1Y/L/00 at different times. Would describe my coloring as neutral - not a classic Autumn, not really a Winter, maybe more of a Late Fall?

Icy-cool and stunning!

Bluebell is one of my fav AL blues - I love it worn w/Bouganvillea - you wouldn't think those 2 shades would go togeher but somehow w/my coloring it's a great combo.

Dolphin, Sapphire, and Copen are 3 more of my favorite AL blue beauties.

Thanks so much for your pretty pics! Smile

Like Emerald just said "icy-cool and stunning!" That's my thoughts too.

You certainly have good intuition with colors and great application techniques too, Mint!

Loving all the pix lately!

Thanks =) I used to wear blue eyeliner all the time before I got allergic, and every now and then one of my friends took a look at me in the direct sunlight and said 'Wow, your eyes are so GREEN!'

Light blues definitely bring out the 'best' of the greenness, though I am also finding lots of different shades that enhance it in several ways.. But no matter what, I love being able to do eyeshadows again and playing with them!
