Inspiration can come from anywhere, right? I should totally NOT be embarrassed that I was inspired to do a makeup look by this Webkinz Citrus Dragon, right? Right? Right?

Oh well. October is dragon season, so why not?

Anyway, I used the L'Orchidee collection to mimic the cute citrus shade on this plushie dragon. I love these types of colors, and had actually planned to do this look before I got my L'Orchidee samples, but they just happened to be the perfect shades for the job:

Bumblebee over lid dry.
Cricket foiled in outer vee.
Seed Pearl under brows.
Tigrilla foiled under lower lashes.

Other:
Wildflower blush.
Urban Decay's liner pencil in Covet on upper line only.
Shortcake lip.
Max Factor Lash Perfection mascara in black.

I'm pretty iffy about how I did the lower line. I don't think Tigrilla is enough by itself, so if I did this look again, I'd use Covet in my waterline, or my usual black gel. I also don't feel that Bumblebee was strong enough next to foiled Cricket. I think I should have foiled Bumblebee, too. Oh well. It was a fun experiment.

The Citrus Dragon says "hi."

I really really like it. The liner on the top is awesome and I dig the bottom liner too. Great job (and cute little plushie). Smile
