I couldn't think of a creative title today....

This has been a crazy weekend! DH and I have both been working a ton of overtime -- fortunately I can work from home, but he has to go to the office. He was there for 12 hours yesterday and is back this afternoon We decided to skip church so we could work and he could study for his classes, but since I did have to go out to buy groceries, I decided I might as well take a few minutes to play with eyeshadows

Trillium on inner lid
Stillinhollywood in crease, outer lid, and dry along lower lashline (my sensitive eyes don't like wetlining for some reason....)
Angel Wing just under brow
Starbright crease to brow (not really showing up in these pics...)
Black Cherry gel liner on entire upper lid and outer 1/3 of lower lid
Black mascara



Trillium looked brighter in real life than in these pictures...

That's good you found time to play with makeup. It's good therapy for busy days and I totally hear you. Classes, work, family - where is the "us" time?

Anyway, this is very pretty. It made me think of Neapolitan ice cream.

I hope I get a chance to pick up Trillium. It's one of the first ones from that set that caught my eye, but I wasn't around when they were out.

I LOVE this GG. This is a bit different for you, right? I think it may be my fav so far. I love the subtle hint of green with the pinky purple.

Sorry to hear about all the time spent working. That's been going on here too - for my husband anyway. We miss him! But at least you worked in some shadow time.

PaintedMoogle, I love Trillium because it's one of the few greens that I think looks good on me You should definitely pick it up if you like bright greens!

NUTC, this is a bit brighter than I'd normally do for work or church, but sometimes on Saturdays I play with bright colors I did recently try Glowing Luna + Persephone (inspired by Tally's FOTD), which could be considered a more toned-down version of this look!

Pretty! It almost seems like Trillium echoes your eye colour a little bit.Maybe thats why it works?

I think I like Trillium just because blue-toned greens work better on me than yellow/warm greens.... now why the cooler greens work, I don't know, maybe it's because they're closer to my eye color

My eyes look more blue or aqua when viewed from straight-on, but you can see in the next-to-last pic that they always look green when viewed from the side... weird...

I love this combination. It's nice to see an old favorite like stillinhollywood. You have such beautiful eyes.

You know, I thought I was putting Trillium on my whole inner lid, but I must have taken my purple crease color over too far Oh well, it's still good!

Oh, you know, it could have been just the way the first picture looks. Because in the last picture it does look like Trillium is on your inner 2/3. Well, eitherways, it is very nice . I've always favored blending anyway where it isn't obvious that a vertical line seperates colors straight down the the lid.

But my main point was that I think it's great how you found two different shades of purple/green to wear that look great together, but that are completely different shades than the ones that I wore in my most recent green/purple look. See, I am pretty sure this combo would look odd on me, but it looks great on you (as most of our eyeshadow combos go What you can wear, I can't, visa versa.)

I really like the pop of Trillium.
