Cin inspired today's look... but this is a shout out to all of you glam, gothy gals!

On the eyes, I used:
Inner Lid = Moth LE
Outer Lid, lower line & Crease = Hoity Toity LE
Brow Highlight = Dollhouse Plush
Liner = Bouganvillea Matte (doesn't show in photos)

Cheeks = Glorious Venus mix
Face = Illuminator + Silk Powder, plus a whole bunch of Metamorphosis, for good measure

Brows = Natural Taupe pencil, Bouganvillea matte, plus a sparkly purple brown from another company

The lips are a black burgundy color from another company.








This shot distorts my face completely, but it is my favorite...

Looks great! It looks very gothy with this lip color, but with a different lip the eyes could also work for a more everyday look. Lots of possibilities! Smile

I think these colors look really good on you, and the lipstick is a hard color to wear! You look awesome!

Thanks ladies!

This dark lipstick is a hard color to wear (for me.) I prefer more brown/wine tones to balance my hair and eyecolor.

And GG... you re right about how the lipcolor changes the whole look. I have worn three different ones with different effects. First, I wore Juliette (a wine MLBB shade) which is a "go-to" day look for me. It was nice. Next the vampy shade you see here. Very dramatic. (My 2 y.o. son keeps pointing at my lips saying, "oh... momma!" LOL)

But, I've read that when you wear the right lip shade your whole face lights up, and that happened with lip color selection #3 - Pinafore. I have a sample and may need a FS! It is fresh and perfect.

The photos really don't show off the glitter and glow of this look well. I am very sparkly today IRL. Smile

Thanks Z! You inspired it too!

And Elena, I've used your "black gloss inspiration" with this dark lip shade to make it easier to wear. I mix it with Summer of Love Gloss to make a sheer, sparkly black lipgloss. It looks pretty cool. But for some reason, I can't get an accurate color photo to show that effect so I haven't posted it.

Love it! I'll have to try the Dollhouse / Moth combo. Changing the lip color can greatly affect the overall look, as you mentioned. But glad I could give you a little inspiration!

You look great! I love this sort of deep, rich lip. With my coloring, I find that burgundy is tough for me, but a rich, slightly reddened chocolate brown, or a very cool, muted purple (not plum) works pretty well.

Go you! I think we all need toglam up/goth out just a bit now and then. Keeps us in touch with our inner vixen!

My coloring - Fair, naturally curly dark red hair, freckles (light golden), combo to oily skin, use 1W Glissade and/or Voile, although I can and have worn 1Y, 1Y/L, and 1Y/L/00 at different times. Would describe my coloring as neutral - not a classic Autumn, not really a Winter, maybe more of a Late Fall?
