hi ladies! love checking in to see everyone's pretty FOTDs and challenge looks... I don't anticipate things slowing down at all for me, but maybe as I adjust to my "new normal" I'll find time to post FOTDs again, like I did today (it helps that I'm still feeling lousy and pacing myself w/work today) nothing terribly exciting here, other than this being my first FOTD as a redhead and I got to play w/les papillons to boot I wanted to do something a little different b/c I feel like everyone else has already given flutura's cloud a good airing, but she was calling my name, beckoning me w/her brilliant sparkly blue-ness, and I just couldn't say no lol

flutura's cloud LP LE in crease, soul takes flight LP LE to darken V

scuba dive gel eyeliner on upper lash line
flutura's cloud under entire lower lash line

FACE/LIPS
glissade 1N+G00 foundation w/a whisk of 1Y (I'm still tweaking my foundation LOL)
kinetic EL Cheek Glisten under cheek bones
sundaygirl Rocks! Rouge on apples
skybright GL shimmer over cheek bones
ultra res FP in clear
creampuff GL NCC

as usual, this doesn't look as intense in pix as it does in person, plus the colour seems a little off to me (warmer in pix than IRL, gotta figure out how to adjust my el cheapo camera to compensate for that) thx for looking!

I love your new haircolor. Looks great! Did you color it at home? If so, what brand did you use? Your eyes look great, too.

thx! I've never EVER coloured my hair before, so I figured I better let a professional have the first shot at it my colourist used an Aveda demi colour, but I think next time I'm just going to go for the permanent colour, I'm hoping it'll hold better than the demi (my colour's already "fading" to a brighter red, and I was really loving the dark cherry colour I started out with)

you know the best part about my eyes? not having to muck around w/mascara anymore!

Going red sometimes makes you re-think your colors. I tend to go with much softer shadow colors when my hair's red, when it's black I need more intense or I get washed out. Every time I see your beautiful face I think, hmmmm, red....maybe I should go with red highlights instead of purple?

Nice look. I like the face from Luna to Winged Psyche.

Looks great, and I still like seeing everyone's different takes on Flutura's Cloud!

And what do you mean about not "mucking around with mascara"? Whatever you did with your lashes here, they look amazing!

GG, as part of my own "metamorphosis" I got lash extensions a couple of weeks ago - LOVE THEM!! no more mascara let alone no more clumps, no more spending 10 mins just crimping my eyelashes, no rubbing at my eyes to get the mascara off (and I didn't usually use waterproof, either)... there's kind of a learning curve w/the lash extensions, but it only took me a few days to get used to them, and I seriously LOVE 'em (now I even look good when I'm sick LOL or maybe it's more accurate to say I look less awful when I'm sick )

btw, it's nice to be missed - I think I've figured out how I can still post every once in a while, all I need to do is just cut down on the # of pix LOL

You look fabulous as a redhead! But the first thing I noticed were those absolutely gorgeous lashes! So very youthful looking. I think I'm going to take a class on lash extensions to add it to my menu of services.
