I wanted to have a DISCO ON MY EYES today, but not the kind of disco that the cops end up coming to check out, so I went with foiled shades from the L'Orchidee collection.

Anyway, here's today:

Eyes:
Moth under brow and in inner corners of my eyes.
Tangleroot foiled on inner half of lids.
Moonset foiled on outer half of lids and into outer half of crease.
Mariposa foiled in inner half of crease and smudged dry along inner half of lower line.
Chatterbox smudged dry along outer half of lower line.

Other:
Wildflower blush.
Juliette lip.
HiP gel liner in black (I drew two wings coming from upper and lower lids, but the pictures don't show this well.)
Black mascara.
Urban Decay's primer potion.

Well, that's my "eye disco."

Groovy, baby! "Nobody can stop the disco!" Smile

I especially love the pop of pink from the Mariposa... nice!

Aren't you glad you kept that blush! It looks great.

I really like the reds from AL. I never tried any reds on my eyes before. Burgundies I had tried and they usually made me look like I was recovering from a black eye.

Haha, thanks everybody.

And yes, I'm so glad I kept it! It worked out great and made me feel much, much better about my clumsiness.

I also hear you about the black eye thing. I do better with cool reds and pinks than with burgundies.

I use eyedrops. I use a relatively stiff brush and tap it up and down in the eyedrops that I've mixed with a color, and then tap it up and down on my lid. If I remember my childhood art classes, I believe it's called stippling?

Another thing I do sometimes is mix the eyedrops and the shadow, and then use a small liner brush and just slowly fill in my lid. It takes forever, but I can get the color to be super bright and uniform that way, with minimal sparkle fallout.

I started using eyedrops because they're slightly thicker than water and I figure if it's hygienic enough to go in my eyes, it's hygienic enough to go on my eyes.
