Hello. This may be a stupid question, but I have allergies/sensitivities to several common ingredients, including carmine. I can find the "generic" ingredients list for each different product line, but can't figure out if Aromaleigh posts the specific ingredients for each color- most of the time, the description says that products, "may contain..." ingredients that I would like to avoid (but I'm pretty sure that not all colors in the line contain all these ingredients). Does anyone know where I can find a more specific list of ingredients? Thanks!

Raine, I'm sorry, but we do not have a list of the specific pigments found in each individual color available on the website.

If you would like to email me privately, aromaleigh1@yahoo.com, and let me know the specific products/colors you are interested in, I may be able to get that information for you, at least for the products that we make in-house. We do not have the information for the products that are made for us by our formulator.

Just as an FYI for everyone, the FDA does not require labeling products with the specific pigments that are used in an individual color. FDA regulations require only the "may contain" listing of all the pigments that might be found in any of the colors. You will find very few companies (if any) that actually label products with the exact pigments in a particular color.

Hi, Rainekitty! Amy will help you out wonderfully!

As a little bit of help, too, I'd share with you that I also am allergic to several coloring ingredients including carmine. Generally, I stay away from pinks and reds, but have found that the Rocks! shades are free of carmine, as is Cossette (luster eye shadow). I can wear even the boldest reds in the Rocks! line with absolutely no irritation whatsoever!

My coloring - Fair, naturally curly dark red hair, freckles (light golden), combo to oily skin, use 1W Glissade and/or Voile, although I can and have worn 1Y, 1Y/L, and 1Y/L/00 at different times. Would describe my coloring as neutral - not a classic Autumn, not really a Winter, maybe more of a Late Fall?
