What is Malpighia punicifolia fruit extract (acerola)? Where does it come from and what are the benefits of this ingredient?

37 years old, I apply a layer of 1Y then apply 2W, medium brown hair, hazel eyes.

I believe it is a very potent form of vitamin C, but I don't know where it comes from. Have you tried Wikipedia? I'm sure Kristen or others can shed some light also...hope I helped at least a little.

Coloring: 1.5 level skin with yellow undertones, hazel eyes, medium golden/reddish brown hair color. Surprisingly, I look best in neutral and cool-toned makeup. Love greys and pinks. Current Favorites: Magnetism gel liner, Rocks! Rouge in Breathless, Pinafore Color Cream, Adelaide EDT, Delicate Vanilla Bean Lipbalm, Ondberry and Maylily Spring Solstice!

Wikipedia has some info. It's basically a high-content vitamin C cherry grown in somewhat tropical areas. AKA acerola.

60 yrs old, darkish reddish-brown hair, very pale skin with both some yellow and a lot of pink undertones with a big bunch of goldish FRECKLES - 1C/1CL or 2N Voile, amber eyes, all-purpose warm-cool, summer-winter-fall-spring look. Love pinks and roses.
