I'm taking the plunge and baring all. I have more wrinkles in the photos than I see in my mirror...sigh.

After: Sunscreen with a pinch of glissade 2N, pure cover in cream and a bit of rose coquille brushed on top of my dark areas.
Rosewood blush
Eyes: Maiden under brow, Kinetic EL cheek powder on lid, Crease: my neutral mix: slate, wheat, willow. Lined with moonagedaydream mixed with sealant and applied with a brush very close to the lash line. You can't really see the color, but I think it makes my eyes look more greenish. And 2 coats of brown waterproof mascara.

Lips: Cognac (my fave YLBB shade)

And a close up of the eye.

only the last picture is showing up for me...

EDIT: nevermind, I guess I just needed to refresh the page. silly internets.

I think that even without makeup, your skin is just fine - I definitely wouldn't have thought you were "40 +" and cognac looks perfect on you.

Beautiful! Your before is so fresh and young - and your after is the same, only amplified a bit!

You are gorgeous!

My coloring - Fair, naturally curly dark red hair, freckles (light golden), combo to oily skin, use 1W Glissade and/or Voile, although I can and have worn 1Y, 1Y/L, and 1Y/L/00 at different times. Would describe my coloring as neutral - not a classic Autumn, not really a Winter, maybe more of a Late Fall?

I agree with Bridget and Melissa! You are lovely! Now you've joined the 'before and after' group.

It's always nice to have a face to a name.

The ladies are so right . You look good with or without makeup . Pics do accentuate my wrinkles and crepey eye area too. So don;t feel bad.
I bet you enjoy doing henna art . Have you done it long?

darn... i can't see any of the pics. Frown

edited to add: oh, i can see them now! you are so pretty!!!! and you definately look much younger than you are. i'd have never guessed! w/o makeup your eyes look like a vivid shade of blue like lapis lazuli but the liner really brings the green out. and you have such beautifully shaped lips and delicately arched brows. love your hair shade too. just lovely! thanx so much for sharing! Smile

Thanks everybody! I guess I'm a poster child for diligent sunscreen use (and good genes -- Thanks Mom!)

Jane, I've done henna art for the past 9 years. I love how the henna changes colors. I love meeting my clients and I love learning more about the history and culture of henna's use. You could say I'm a bit addicted...

You're so beautiful! Look at your fabulous cheeks, wow! Rosewood looks fantastic on you. Your skin does look great (yay from another die-hard sunscreen wearer). I love the application, very subtle and pretty. Definitely accentuates your natural beauty. Thanks for posting! Smile
