ok ladies... here's my "natural" before and after. no goth makeup here my friends. god, i feel naked! (eeek!)







makeup used:

a mix of 1W, ghost, and alabaster glissade

concealer used as needed

all shades from the 2005 kit (can't remember the names)

umber matte shadow to shade in brows

rococo & dolly rouge

tulip lip liner

melancholia color creme

wine mascara

i absolutely adore this kit! even though everything was applied lightly for these pics... they could easily be used for a darker look. can't wait to mix and match these shadows with the 2008 kit!

Nadja, you look so incredibly lovely in these pix. I loved your other b/a pictures, but these are in a league all their own. I know you like the more dramatic (and you can certainly wear it well ~ hot, hot, hot), but this 'natural' look becomes you. You remind me of a young Diane Lane.

And that lip color ~ gorgeous on you. Can't wait to get mine... maybe tomorrow.

thanx guys... for some reason the crease color didn't show up. prolly cuz i was trying for a natural look and didn't pile it on thick enough to withstand the flash. it just looks like all one color. i guess i'll have to give it another try in the next few days.

diane lane, huh? i think the only thing i have ever seen her in was lonesome dove. she is quite pretty... so thank you... that's quite the compliment. (blushing) someone else said that here on the forum quite some time ago... was that you?

edited to add: loida ~ you will love melancholia! it's super gorgeous and just sheer enough to really make it look different on everyone. because of its sheerness i used my ylbb lip liner tulip to cover my scar. otherwise it shows right thru. i haven't tried using it on my cheeks yet but i will do so very soon. you have such beautiful coloring and lovely shaped lips... i'm sure it will look simply stunning on you.

no, it's not shimmery at all. it gives a lovely satin sheen to your lips like a lip balm would.

this prolly isn't the greatest example of what the color creme looks like since i'm wearing the tulip lip liner underneath.

simply stunning, Nadja! you've got beautiful bone structure too. Your brow bone and your nose really impress me -- I don't quite know how to say what I'm thinking....
