Well, here's what Aromaleigh does for me! My technique isn't as refined as some of you, and I don't have a few of the things I wish I did (primer and silk powder, for example) but I gave it a shot:

Before:


After:


Face:
Moisturizer
Coquille Vert on and around nose and on chin, applied with fiber optic brush
2N Glissade applied in two layers with flocked sponge (I normally use SSTK, but figured more coverage was better for pictures), then smoothed with SSTK
Illuminating Perle Powder in Solace in a "C" from temple to top of cheek bone
Luminesce Divine Finishing Powder in Angel applied with the all-over fiber optic brush

Cheeks:
Pure Rouge in Verve applied with fiber optic blush brush

Eyes:
Torrid Elemental Lustre foiled along upper and lower lashline with an angled eye liner brush
Torrid Elemental Lustre "tamped" in dry over lid with wet/dry eyeshadow brush
Entangle Elemental Lustre "tamped" dry along crease, then swept with dry brush to blend
Glow Pure Eyes Frost applied dry to inner corner and along brow bone to highlight
One coat brown mascara, upper lashes only

Lips:
Bella Gloss Infusion Lipgloss all over, applied with lip brush
Charm Gloss Infusion Lipgloss applied just to the center of lower and upper lip (I wanted to see if a paler color that wasn't a shimmer would still have the effect of making lips look fuller)

Lip close-up:

And...that's it! Whew.

My coloring - Fair, naturally curly dark red hair, freckles (light golden), combo to oily skin, use 1W Glissade and/or Voile, although I can and have worn 1Y, 1Y/L, and 1Y/L/00 at different times. Would describe my coloring as neutral - not a classic Autumn, not really a Winter, maybe more of a Late Fall?

Looks great! Great application technique. You look very fresh faced and natural, like it took no effort.


Foundation: 2y voile with a tiny amount of 2yl sometimes. (Can also wear 2W)
Lip Favs: Lollipop, Wallflower, Pinafore, Limbo, Zest
Blush Favs: Rococco, Tawny, Epitome
Eye Favs: Damask, Lola, Fiona, Ariel, Longing, Fairy, Seaglass, Shell, Willow, Marigold, Lisianthus & more to come!

You look so pretty in your photos! Your skin looks absolutely flawless in the after (not that it was bad before.) It almost looks like you don't have any makeup on except eyeliner and lipgloss...like "Yes, I wake up looking this perfect, my cheeks are naturally flushed just-so" Wink

Wow, thank you all for the kind comments! It's taken me a while to get up the courage to post "before" pics. I guess we're all our own harshest critics, huh?

They also look a lot worse blown up huge. TeeHeeHee

I definitely need a full size of Bella. It's a great "barely there" color that manages to define my lips without making them take over my face.

I wish I'd been able to get a good eye close up, but for whatever reason I really suck at those. Boo Hoo Hoo
