My eyes are VERY blue. I have noticed though that some blues really look odd with them though. I usually go for shades of say... blue jeans. That doesn't seem to wash out my eyes too much. As I want to enhance them and not do an overkill, Does anyone have any suggestions for eye colors for me?
I do have say a million? samples coming, lol, but I love what you all do with your eyes. Any suggestions from you all would be greatly appreciated.
Yeah, I haven't gotten my order yet, as I keep repeating from thread to thread, annoying I know...sorry. I am willing to play with any color suggestions also...

I think purples really make blue eyes look fantastic... give penelope a try, that to me is the perfect purple. It is a lustre and has the perfect amount of shimmer, I just love it.

I read something (maybe on this site) about going the opposite side of the color wheel to make your eyes pop. I think that's why my green eyes look greener when I wear the copper (red and green ARE on opposite sides of the color wheel).

Have you noticed neutral eye colors look good on most people?

If you are looking for a good blue like blue jeans try Swank Elemental Lustre, Lush Memoir Gothic Lolita or Isabella Lustre.
For complimentary colors try Adobe Pure Hue, Amelie, Olivia or Chloe Lustres, Tuscany or Wish Pure Eyes Frost. Really any Coral, Peachy or Copper tones.
Here are some links for reading:

Also go to the gallery and look for gals that have similar eye color like Jenna's gallery or Robyn's gallery.

Milla Jovovich is one of my favorite actresses. She has really intense eye color, like yours, and the looks she does that I like the best is sort of a sexy neutral with dark eye liner, mascara, and warm brown eye shadow on the lids with a slightly lighter shade on the brow bone. I especially like the looks they for the latest Resident Evil; even if the movie wasn't so great she's still pretty. Here's a couple close ups for you:

Yeah, I do love neutrals. I tend to wear browns or greens when I wear shadows, but with all these colors here at AL... I'm just in love with them all...LOL
Yeah, I get stopped all the time asking if I'm wearing contacts...LOL "Intense" is a good word.

Don't apologize for asking questions!
We all love to share tips and give advice.
Sometimes I go opposite. I have green eyes and when I wear shades of blue, the green just intensifies.

You have SUCH beautiful eyes - I love blue eyes in silvery colors. Jenna has some amazing photos of her baby blues in her gallery that may give you some ideas/inspiration:

I especially like this look of hers:

you have beautiful eyes! dark lashes, too!

i have blue eyes and i find that a lot of blue eyeshadows seem to compete with my eyes and turn them dull and flat- looking. i prefer the milla look, but i also like greys as a nuetral sometimes. i have pewter and graphite and charcoal and a few other greys which look good with my blues. rockbottom is a good brown to try if you haven't already, too.

my exhusband has some seriously amazing blue eyes. gorgeous! and super long, thick black lashes. i was always jealous. Wink when i'd do his makeup i'd almost always make him wear coppery shades and the contrast would really make his eyes pop. every single time he'd wear those colors people would always compliment him... it never failed. i'd definitley recommend the shades desert sage mentioned. it's not much of a leap from the 'neutral' browns you love to copper, peach, and coral shades. i think pinks and reds look fabulous too.

the muted blue shades like swank, lush memoir, and isabella are gorgeous blues and the only ones i can actually wear without being to cool or bold for my skin tone. you'll love them! definitely get samples of those if you haven't already. Smile

I agree, go copper. It will make your eyes really pop, like Jenna's Smoking Torment:
