Totally random thread ....

Unless you're diligent about washing your brushes every day (I know I'm not!) I'm guessing the white bristles of your FO brushes get stained pretty colors between uses. I just realized today that I now have 4 FO brushes and they are all stained different colors! lol What colors are your brushes?

Ultra-Cute: A dark brown/burgundy since I normally use it with crease colors (I've been using slowburn a lot lately)

Ultra-Posh: A light peach, since I use it to apply washes of light colors, and I've been on a Marigold kick lately

Blush: A bright orange-pink from various Rocks and GL blushes (I've probably used Corset, Rococo, and Sundaygirl the most lately)

All-Over Face: Yellow from my Coquille Juane.

*****
Voile: 1W+Alabaster ~ Clear & Warm Skintone ~ Blue Eyes ~ Dark Blonde Hair ~ 28 Years Old

Current AL obsessions:
Eyes: Cascade, Orinoco, Aurora, Coppelia, Entangle
Cheeks: Corset, Nectar, Myrtle, Sundaygirl
Lips: Notorious, Wallflower, Melancholia, Rosebud

Yep, they stain.
Only one of mine stained is FO blush brush and I can usually get it down to a light pink when I clean it.

My blush brush is peach from all the nectarine I use... and my big brush is just a neutral beigey from the glissade.

I'm pretty obsessive about cleaning my other brushes so they're still unstained... Smile

I'm actually really good about washing my shadow brushes after each use, since I never know what shade I'll use next (plus all my pinkeye scares!). But my FO blush brushes, oh, I'm a bad girl and have only been washing them once a week. So one is pretty much purple from Wildflower, the other more red from SinisterRouge!

I just have the blush and face brushes. My blush brush is is a sort of brick red color from Sable and Cherrybomb (it's perma-stained from the Cherrybomb), and my face brush is a light beige color from Seraph, Plum Blossom, and the translucent URFP.

My old-style fiber optic blush brush is a lovely shade of pink, thanks to Myrtle.

My new-style fiber optic blush brush is nearly clean since I washed it last night, but I used it with Rococo this morning.

I love those fiber-optic brushes!!! I need the face and e/s ones. Smile

My brush is bright pink too, I use it mainly for my Rocks! and Gothic Lolita blushes.

Speaking of the "old-style" fiber optic blush brush, I found a great new use for it. I keep it as my clean brush, so when I get a little eyeshadow powder on my cheek, I just lightly whisk it away!

I was my FO blush brush every day, since I don't always use the same blush every day.

I'm loving Rococo and Wildflower. Wearing Sundaygirl today, will post pics later. I think it looks nice, but I think Rococo looks better.

Mineral makeup really has turned me into loving blush, especially with the fiber optic blush. Before, I wouldn't touch it at all until I discovered cream/mousse blush.

Now I'm wondering if I should pick up a second FO blush brush, even though I wash mine daily.
FO brushes seem to be awesome.
