I've read and read how much you all love the SSTK and thought "Yep, those kabuki brushes are great". I've been using the kabuki I originally got with my first BE MMU order - eventually tossed the makeup but thought the kabuki was a wonderful brush. When Kristen put the SSTK on sale I got one and wow, there really is a big difference! I know I've said it before, but it's sooo true. I've been replacing my brushes one at a time and every time I get one of Kristen's I think it's the best brush I ever had - it never fails. And I had some good brushes before - a friend who was a makeup artist for models in Phoenix got me a deal on professional brushes and those are what I've been replacing, so it's not like I'm comparing cheapo brushes. I got the wet/dry shadow brush, too, and liked it so much I tossed the all purpose shadow brush I got from my friend.

Anybody on the fence about Kristen's brushes - get one - you'll be delighted.

I finally ordered the SSTK last night. I picked up the FO face since it was on sale, as well. I'm really excited to get them.

My AL brush collection is small so far, but every time I get a new one I think, 'and how did I live without this before?' I especially love my wet/dry shadow brush (which I use for the majority of my eye makeup), the thin liner brush, and the FO blush brush. But really, I've been extremely impressed with the quality of each and every one of them.

Miss K has really gone out of her way to offer some truly wonderful brushes.

I dearly love each brush I have gotten from AL, and I have several. I have recently added the "Super Cute" to my list of "absolute must-haves" along the SSTK and the Ultra Lux FO All Over Face brush. The new FO blush brush is also an incredible brush.

Aromaleigh has made me into a brush junkie! Cloud 9

I love them. RO are very light and airy and SSTK is still so soft.

I love the FO blush brush, but have a hard time getting it clean. I wash it, but it seems stained with Rococo Smile I'm worried about getting a shadow one and having it stained a dark color on the ends. Any suggestions for cleaning out the colors. Thanks.

All right, lin, you've convinced me. I, too, have been using a BE kabuki, and thought it would be the same as the kabukis here. But given your praises, and since it's on sale this week, I'm going for it...ordering the Aromaleigh kabuki. Cool

(This may also be influenced on my recent purchase of the FO blush brush, which I LOVE. What a great brush!)

My friend came over to play with makeup with me tonight and had a BE Kabuki and it was not nearly as soft as my SSTK. I think I convinced her to join us here at AL and on the forum tonight. Wink Hehe.

Ok, my SSTK arrived today, and I have to say that thing is ridiculously soft. This could be problematic. I didn't want to stop applying my foundation. Razz

Jani, my fiber optic blush brush looks stained, too, but in my case it's Rocks! Firewoman! I just wash it like I wash all my brushes and it's fine. I don't think it's a problem at all.

Oh my! I just got SSTK in the mail and used it for the first time on my full face. Every other brush makes me itch and tears at my skin, I didn't want to stop buffing with this one! It was SO soft and deposited a shockingly large amount of minerals for a brush - very comparable to the coverage I get with a sponge but not so cakey looking. This is a the most amazing brush I've ever used!

My question is - how often should I wash it? It's only for one type of makeup and it's so dense I wonder how well it dries. Any suggestions?

I deep clean mine w/baby shampoo once a week. It does take a good 24+ hours to dry, so make sure you have a flocked sponge or some other application tool handy to use as a backup. Also be sure to gently squeeze out as much water as you can after rinsing well, reshape the bristles, and lay it on its side to dry. If you stand it upright, water can leach into the base of the brush & ruin the integrity of the glue (or so I've read). This brush stands up amazingly well to repeated washing, after completely air drying and a good fluffing up, it's just as soft as the day I bought it! Love
