So let me start by saying how in love I am with the fiber optic blush brush. I'm considering the eye shadow one as well, but wonder if it is as necessary. What do you girls think who have it? Also, today was the first day I tried to wetline. I used drama blue. Normally I just use them dry and like it. It went ok, but I seemed to waste alot of product. How do you get such a small drop of sealant out so that you don't need much powder. I do like how it stayed put all day and the color is more real than when I use them dry. Also, I'd like some techniques of how you all wetline. Mine looks okay, but I'm sure it could be improved. Thank you.

Keep practicing. It does take a few tries to feel like you get it right. I now can wetline almost as quickly as I use the gel liners. But, it took a while to get to that point.
Just try to use the smallest amount of liquid, and mix in a little at a time.

I still have trouble with the drama queen liners. The glittery stuff is harder for me.

I use both the fiber optic blush brush and I have a eye shadow f.o. brush.
I use it anytime I'm adding a dark color, or something I know I have a heavy hand with.
I use it with rocks or really anything.
I use the wet dry brush more often, but I'm glad I have it as an option.
Lately I'm using most colors wet, and I love the wet/dry brush. Then, when I want to add my crease color, I often start a little at a time with the f.o. brush.
Keep practicing with wetlining. It will come.
Have fun.

Hi Janelle,

Don't know if you've seen this thread....

http://aromaleighaficionadas.infopop.cc/eve/forums/a/tp...5009936/m/3961097173

In any case, I LOVE this brush and am so glad I got it. Love the FO blush brush too. Use it all the time.

As far as tightlining... it does take practice. The trick is the right amount of powder to a very small amount of sealant.

If you either use the jar lid or a small "palette" of some sort, you can actually reconstitute your wet minerals. Sealant dries very quickly - what I usually do is place a single drop of sealant on the inside of the lid of my jar, then pick up a small amount of minerals using my liner. I'll add a bit more if the consistency is too thin. Then I test on my hand, then line my eyes. By the time I've done my second eye, the lid is nearly dry - I leave it open while I put on mascara and brows, then it's fully dry and I just screw it back onto the jar. The next time I use that shade to line, I start by adding just a single drop of sealant - often that is all that I need to get the right consistency. No waste!

My coloring - Fair, naturally curly dark red hair, freckles (light golden), combo to oily skin, use 1W Glissade and/or Voile, although I can and have worn 1Y, 1Y/L, and 1Y/L/00 at different times. Would describe my coloring as neutral - not a classic Autumn, not really a Winter, maybe more of a Late Fall?

I let mine dry on the lid, too! I sprinkle a little bit of the minerals onto the lid, then squeeze the sealant until I can see a drop starting to come out, then touch that to a different area of the lid, so I don't even use a whole drop. I mix right on the lid and let it sit out until it dries, then put it back on the container. I've even found that with the Drama Queen colors the next time I use that color I just swirl my crease brush in the dried mix on the lid without getting any more minerals and it's a great shadow.
