Oh absolutely. It is the same flocked sponge you would get if you ordered it by itself. Try it and see how you like it. You might want to try it out wet as well. I love using it wet in the cooler months for a heavier coverage. Try it both ways and see what you like best Smile

I doubt anyone will tell you that since this is Aromaleigh's board and AL doesn't sell said set. But the SSTK is definitely worth getting by itself. You won't find a brush like this anywhere else (that I know of). It's heavenly!

I just applied 2Y & 2YL this morning using a damp flocked sponge & I LOVE the coverage. I think I might like it more than my kabuki, although I'm sure I'll use it still. But for now, I'm going to continue with this method. First, I completely wet the sponge in the faucet. Then, I squeeze it so excess water falls out. That's it! It has the perfect amount of moisture all around, so I can use any side of it I need. It gives liquid foundation coverage this way, but of course, it's minerals!

Foundation: 2y voile with a tiny amount of 2yl sometimes. (Can also wear 2W)
Lip Favs: Lollipop, Wallflower, Pinafore, Limbo, Zest
Blush Favs: Rococco, Tawny, Epitome
Eye Favs: Damask, Lola, Fiona, Ariel, Longing, Fairy, Seaglass, Shell, Willow, Marigold, Lisianthus & more to come!

I just recently washed my flocked sponge using antibacterial hand soap and it came out almost totally clean. There is a slight nude tinge to it because of the color of the foundation, but other than that it looks like new! I really make it last, too. I use all four corners of it until the entire thing looks matted down. So it does last a long time.

Love it!
