My kabuki got flushed and I need to replace it but I think I might like the idea of a longer handle...

The jumbo brush does feel very similiar to the kabuki. I'm looking at them both now. It seems the main difference is that the hairs are shorter than the ones on the kabuki brush and not tapered the same way.
Hmmm, the buffer brush is dense, but not as dense as the kabuki brush.
I have used it for applying my Voile before. It's great for a lighter coverage day. You might have to put on more layers to get the same coverage as the kabuki.

The jumbo buffer isn't as dense as the kabuki. The kabuki is a big wider (does that make sense?), bigger diameter. But the jumbo buffer would work well for foundation application, especially if you prefer a longer handle.

Thanks for the replies. I don't know what to do. I've ordered many a brush from other sources, received them and stuck them in a drawer because they aren't dense enough. I paid $45 for a Prescriptives flat head brush that wasn't dense enough to use....lol. Hate to make a $30.00 mistake but it looks so nice! I used to have a Garden Botanika flat top that was about an inch or so across. Nicely dense but it's gotten to the point where I have to pick brush hairs off my face when i use it....

I do like the idea of shorter hairs, it seems they buff better...
