I ordered the slanted taklon eye brush with my huge order with the intention of using it with the gel eyeliner, but it seems like it might be a bit to big. The brush is thin enough on the tip to line the eyes, but the brush head is wide enough that it might make lining the eyes difficult. So what do you ladies use this brush for? Do you line your eyes with it? Or do you use it for something else?

I don't have that brush, but I think some use it for bolder liner lines (I always do a thinner line, so I haven't tried it). Maybe it could be used for spot concealing, or thinner lines of shadow in the crease or V? Not sure, but I'm sure it'll be handy for something! Oh, what about as a lip brush?

I don't have that brush either, but I do have a non-AL angle brush that I use for applying eye shadow in a cat-eye shape, and occasionally for lining eyes with dry shadow. Cin's idea of using it for brows would be great too!

The brush I use for gel liners is a very skinny round brush, usually called just an "eyeliner brush" by most brands. AL used to sell something similar but no longer Frown

It works okay for the gel liners (I prefer a 1/8 slanted art brush), but what it's really great at is lining with minerals. It works perfect for that. It's the only brush I use for the Drama Eyeliners.
