rococco is lovely! i got my sample a few days ago and have been wearing it daily. in the little sample baggie it looked exactly the color of the peice of silver coho salmon i bought for supper! so at first i thought "oh no- way too orange" because i consider myself to be cool-toned. also, i am reluctant to try peachy-toned colors because as a readhead i have had them pushed on me for years, as everyone seems to think a redhead has to wear peach-toned makeup and wear green. i am not a "typical" redhead, and i lean more towards cool colors, but surprisingly to me, it looks really lovely on! someone said it doesn't look orangey, and that is true. wonderful color, kristen! -glad you added it to the collection!

I wore Rococo today too. I agree it is very lovely on. And I love how it kinda blends in with my skin and looks very natural, if I want it to. ; )

I have been wearing Rococo everyday since I got my sample. I love the clear color that adds warmth. I have been wearing blue and teal tops I haven't worn in years because of this color!!

I just ordered a sample, can't wait to try it. I hesitated at first because it looked a little warm, but it looks a lot like Score, by Urban Decay and I can wear than. I would much rather have that color in MMU.

Well today is my rococco day!

Lyndz, get a sample of it, I really think you will be pleased!! It's not too orangey at ALL! And it adds that great "healthy cheeks" look that I love so much!! (that takes off years in my opinion, and makes a blah face day into a healthy happy looking one!)...

I find Rococo to be more a neutral color. It could swing from cool to warm easily with a tad of tweaking, say with a titch of a perle added under or over.
But I love it all by it's lonesome Wink

61 yr old, light complected, rosacea -sensitive skin, fading auburn hair, hazel eyed, lightly freckled,
MMU= 2 Y/L + a tad of 2 Pink Glissade.
Topped with an Illuminator/juane,verte,blue coquille powders, and Splendor and Allure Perle powders mix for finishing powder.Leaves a soft ,velvety finish, natural look - not a dry skin/ aged looked

Another Rococo lover here! Went straight for the full size, knew I'd love it.

I agree with Jane - this is a color that could be worn by neutral to cool gals, too. It adds a delightful "blood rush" of color to the cheeks. On my otherwise plain face - just brows and lashes - and even in my plum/blue/grey ribbon sweater (which I keep because I like it, even though it doesn't do that much for me, colorwise), it just works and looks fresh and happy and natural.

Truly, I think ALL the You're A Doll rouges - Corset, Dolly and Rococo - can be worn by anyone. Even I can wear Dolly, the gorgeous pink one, and look fresh and healthy and alive! And I totally do NOT do pink, since it usually just clashes with my other colors. But Dolly is a different matter.

SO - if you've just started with the YAD rouges and maybe got a sample of Rococo, then get samples of the other colors as well. And if you love Corset and Dolly, get a sample of Rococo, too. ALl three ae AWESOME!!
-b.

My coloring - Fair, naturally curly dark red hair, freckles (light golden), combo to oily skin, use 1W Glissade and/or Voile, although I can and have worn 1Y, 1Y/L, and 1Y/L/00 at different times. Would describe my coloring as neutral - not a classic Autumn, not really a Winter, maybe more of a Late Fall?

Mix that corset into other things, perhaps something that needs a little more reddish tone, or something that needs cooling down...or into some clear or even colored gloss...whatever you like!

Great idea Nadja, I've already tried it in gloss. Corset would make a perfect nail color, thanks. I can't believe I didn't think of that. I usually do mix (like Cin) if colors are not quite what I thought. That's one the great things about minerals.

Rococo is gorgeous! It's a little brighter/darker than I usually wear, but is beautiful when I am doing intense eyes and need more color in my cheeks to balance out.

if it's too dark for your taste you could use the fiber optic blush brush to apply it. if you don't have one you can apply the blush first and then put your foundation over it. it really tones down the color.

i've had the sample of rococo for a while and just swiped some on the inside of my arm and i loved the color then. today i tried it on my cheeks and it's a perfect match to an old blush i use to wear but tossed out when i went to minerals. full size here i come!

I absolutely adore the little jar of Rococo I got a few days ago. It is the most gorgeous color, and gives me a healthy, happy glow. I wore it on my eyes today, too, and it looked great. It is my favorite blush color! Everyone should try at least a sample!

I just tried my sample of Rococo today and I loved it too! A little too dark for me, so I wore a little foundation on top of it to tone it down. Next time I might try applying with a Fiber Optic brush -- some blushes (like Verve and the Sonic Rocks) are still too bright/dark even with the FO brush, but if that's the case with Rococo, it still gives me a lovely peachy glow underneath my foundation Smile

Got mom a sample of Rococco for Christmas - it takes 10 years off her 75 year old face. She looks perky even in these dark days of winter.

In a different tread, someone suggested Rococo as a pretty shade for a color creme. It is gorgeous on the lips!

I got the sample size because I wasn't sure of the color. I love it!! I wore it all week. I usually switch off depending how I feel and what colors I'm wearing. Not this one, it's going to be hard for me to use another color now. It even looks good at work under fluorescent lighting. I was pleasantly surprised with the shimmer, it was very nice and subtle. I have to get a full size!! Drool
