I need someone to knock me into next week, and pick the day.
Why you say??? well.. cause I did not order full sizes of Vintage,Petticoat,Lolita,Pearl, COrset and Dolly.. not to mention Pinafore ..

These colors are so much prettier than they look on my monitor. And they are so very wearable for any age too. After all this time with AL you'd think I could have learned not to go by monitor color, or my square minded-outdated-ol'lady opinions of names of thangs/colors.

Anyone still on the fence about the YAD collection just jump off on the + side.. ABsolutely stunning.

K... I am so sorry this collection did not sell like chocolate at a Weight Watchers convention.
It is a cryin' shame. You outdid yourself again with such marvelous colors !
Hopefully they will still be around when we recover financially from getting a new roof on the abode.. ah.. limited money and unlimited wish lists !

Jane, Roll Eyes Boo Hoo Hoo sittin' in the corner snifflin' and pinnin' (pronounced pine-ing) for f/s YAD's !

62 yr old, light complected, rosacea -sensitive skin, fading auburn hair, hazel eyed, lightly freckled,
MMU= 2 Y/L + a tad of 2 Pink Glissade.
Topped with an Illuminator/juane,verte,blue coquille powders, and Splendor and Allure Perle powders mix for finishing powder.Leaves a soft ,velvety finish, natural look - not a dry skin/ aged looked

Yay! Now Jane's a doll too! Dancin Dancer

I know all of the YAD colors will look wonderful on you - they're just so soft and pretty - and hey now, what's not to love about that, huh?!

Enjoy all your new dollies! Smile

Aww, Jane- you are too sweet!

Thanks for the smashin' review!

Do I just label them all as "PIP"???

"prettier in person"?

LOL

K.. PPI.. yep that describes them well.
How about Softly Satin Doll is PPI !! I thought of OIP.. outstanding in person.. but that is too near OPI nail polish name .
I really love these colors. now to win the lottery and buy buckets of them before they fall off the AL roll call of goodies .

I love them too and I haven't seen all of them "IP" yet...except the metamorphose and the gothic WHICH I ADORE to the extent that I'm seriously considering a small dragon hoard. I did finally order the fullsize shadows in lolita and vintage (which I'm eagerly awaiting).

Now I'm holding my breath for my next paycheck so i can get at least lollypop and corset before they go away...along with some spares!

I agree, Jane. A big cash prize right now would not go unappreciated.

Wonderful stuff Miss K!

Jane, you're such a hoot! Chocolate at a Weight Watcher's convention - I can SEE it!! I totally agree with what you said. I got a full size vintage and might get another. It's the best green ever. The perle is a great pink, the combo is incredible!

Kristen, I really would be curious to see how they'd sell as part of the matte collection - I wonder how many people don't even open the YAD window thinking they have to buy the whole set?

54 yrs. old, natural silver highlights. Green eyes, cool skin tone. Level 4 Voile 50/50 C/L is my perfect match foundation. Fave AL product: Nocturne! My YLBB color: Impatiens. Fave eye combos: Blue Coquille with Tide Matte, Pearl with Vintage, Ophelia with Rockbottom, Bouganvillea with anything!

I wore my Petticoat and Vintage, and Pearl today. Oh are they soft and lovely. I lined the upper lid with a medium Sage gel liner too.

if I won a Huge money prize Big Grin
'now keep in mind I Never buy lottery tickets, etc

so just playin' here. Wink

1. I'd buy a house with a big dressing room/sauna room/etc for me and my ever growing AL stash !!
2. I;d load up on all the AL goodies I do not have now and keep some $$ in reserve for new stuff in the works, and in the mind of our
MissK Diva la' Terrific Clap
3. that big house,, it would have a Huge library and solarium.. then I'd keep buying books and keep buying and reading etc.. till my eyes fell out.
4. piped in music I could change by voice activation, like choosing different kinds of music, artists etc..
5. hot and cold running maids, 24 -7
6/ chauffer to drive me in my car that has a recliner in it for me and one passenger, with a nice ice box, etc.. in it.. good music.. just cruise and veg out Love

somewhere in there I'd donate some money to a charity for battered women/children/men. Men can get beat up on too. we sometimes forget that. And of course donate to animal shelters, etc.

I was in a tavern(nice one not a dive !!) in Wa state one time and there were about 30 or more women there from a Weight Watchers convention.
This tavern sold the best and the biggest sandwiches. Well, let me tell you -the WW ladies must have had to count breads, fats /etc enough for 2 weeks at least on that one meal. they were Not in diet mode and I did not blame them. The Blue Mountain Tavern sandwiches were the best.

I sure enjoyed wearing Petticoat,Vintage and Pearl today. just so lovely and as per ususal with Al shadows they can be worn lightly, moderately or dramatic. All in the application adn flip of the wrist/um.. make that brush..

Jane,
We must have been thinking alike today as I also wore, Petticoat, Pearl and Vintage eyeshadows. Yes, they are very lovely and soft. I think next time I need to use primer though to get the colors to show up a little more.

Kristen,
The whole reason I placed my first order ever with Aromaleigh is b/c of the "You're a DOll" collection. I Love all things vintage. Swing music, house dresses....and I was tickled pink to see the whole "You're a doll collection".

I cannot WAIT to get my samples and "swing" over to the world of Aromaleigh!

I'll post my reviews! =)

Sincerely,
Becky
