And I am in LOVE with it!

Such a beautiful uplifting red shade, soft and easy to wear, divine chocolatey taste and scent, cushiony yummy feeling. I am in LOVE!

Just got my parcel in the mail a short while ago - also got my Voile, the Silk Primer! (can't wait to play with that tomorrow!) a Pinafore Color Creme for Bri, and

ENTHRALL LIP GLOSS!

Oh. My. Word. Enthrall is so gorgeous. It is a beautifully balanced color and is MY perfect fresh and elegant rose shade. As a warm gal, even though I lovelovelove those warm tones of coral, tangerine, bronze, copper, gold, mocha and so on, I get craving a REAL lip color. Red, yeah - I do that quite often. But sometimes a girl just feels PINK - I know many of you understand that. And so many pinks fight me, and many rose tones are more muted or more blue based than really look right.

But ENTHRALL IS PERFECT!

I love it.

girl_geek, I think Enthrall would be gorgeous on you, too. WHen I put it on I don't see obviuos frost, just the most delicate sheen. So even though the monitor pic might look sparkly, I wouldn't categorize this gloss as sparkly or glittery at all. But it does have more reflection than a cream. Have you tried this one yet? It's a *bit* more than YLBB, but not in a "Hey, check out this awesome gloss on my so soft and sexy lips - hubbahubba!" way. More like a Ralph Lauren or shopping at Bergdorf's "really - I'm just naturally this fabulous - all the money I spend on makeup and clothes and hair? Not necessary at all, since I look exactly like this without ANY of it! I just do all that stuff so the rest of you won't hate me" sort of way.

Whew.

I AM excited.

Very.

My coloring - Fair, naturally curly dark red hair, freckles (light golden), combo to oily skin, use 1W Glissade and/or Voile, although I can and have worn 1Y, 1Y/L, and 1Y/L/00 at different times. Would describe my coloring as neutral - not a classic Autumn, not really a Winter, maybe more of a Late Fall?

Great review, Bridget!

One question... Do you have any of the older lipglosses? I still have just about all of the other lipglosses, both click pen and older.

I ask because I'm wondering how Enthrall (if you ever had the older one) compares in color, etc., to the brand new formula of Enthrall. I only got Bella and Allure of the new glosses because I never had them in their other incarnations. So I can't compare colors. I want to get more of the new formulation lipglosses, but if the color, etc., is just the same as the old ones, it's harder to justify the purchase right now.

Thanks!

Loida Smile

I agree, Bridget! I got my f/s of Lollypop and a sample of Enthrall yesterday...both are spectacular! Lollypop is very easy to wear. I kept it in my pocket all night tonight at work & reapplied during breaks. No need for a mirror, just used it like a lip balm. Very moisturizing, too! And I was pleasantly surprised by Enthrall. It's just a beautiful shade.

Yep, I did try a sample of Enthrall, and I would classify it as a warm color -- it seems to be a slightly warmish red, and the subtle copper shimmer also makes it more warm! While it is a light red, I still don't think I'd classify it as pink though... but that's just me Wink

On my pale coloring, it was still a pretty bright "look at my lips" kind of color -- especially since I normally stick to MLBB colors. (I like playing up my eyes, but bright lips and bold eyes both are too much for me!) Even though it was bright I kind of liked it (perhaps something to wear with a nude eye), but when I asked hubby he didn't like it and said that it was too bright. He *loved* Infared lipstick on me, but thought all three of the reddish glosses (Enthrall, Tantalize, Bedevil) were too bright for me -- and sadly I kind of agree! Frown

Hopefully when Kirsten brings the lipstick production back in-house (if she does), she'll be able to make a close match to Infared Big Grin

I do have a sample of both Pinafore and Lollypop coming in the mail though ... Smile

i probably missed this cuz i know it was asked before... are the new lollypop and the other color cremes the same formula as the original colorwash... just in different packaging? or is it like smitten and limbo?

and btw ~ i absolutely LOVE the new lip glosses! i got a bunch of samples and boy are they yummy. i think so far enthrall & bedevil are my top 2 favorites with enchant and enamor as close seconds. can't wait to try the other shades!

I think they are like SMitten and Limbo in formula. I feel like I get stronger color payoff with the color cream in the tube than I did with the compact. Hopefully Kristen will be able so state definitely, or someone else can point me to the place where it was already answered. (I think it was, but I can't think of where...)

thanx. not that it would keep me from buying them... i was just merely curious. i have about 10 lollypop and 3 pinafore colorwashes left (i've been giving them out as gifts so they don't all go to waste) but i obviously need to get wallflower! Smile it looks so gorgeous on the screen i can't wait to see it in person.
