They look very similar in the swatches, so similar that I might be hard pressed to tell which is which without labels.

Angel Bouquet is described as "Soft frothy peachy pinks and buff with the most delicate hint of a smokey base for drama." Entangle is "A perfectly smooth silvery cinnamon pearlescent cocoa shade with a hint of pink". So, Entangle is probably more of a neutral than Bouquet?

Does anyone have these swatched on skin? Maybe no one has both but I bet there are people who have one of each, right?

Thanks!

Kristin

I have both colors and I think the main difference is the shimmer ... do you have any of the other Elemental Lustres? Because Entangle has that same metallic finish as the other Elementals -- it's much more shimmery than Angel Bouquet.

Angel Bouquet and Entangle do have fairly similar base colors (Angel Bouquet might be just a hair darker and/or a hair more pink -- I'm going off memory since I wore AB today and Entangle a few days ago!) but Entangle has lots of metallic shimmer, while AB has a finish more similar to the Lustres or Frosts.

I have both colors as well. Angel Bouquet definitely has a darker base than Entangle. While Entangle comes across much more bright on the eye. AB is a nice soft, smokey pink while Entangle gives you that punch of metallic brightness.

In the gothic lolita eyeshadow main page, click on color descriptions. There is a link there to hand swatches in my blog, at the very top of the page.

I would do a search on the site for entangle, I am sure that there are numerous photos in the gallery with customers wearing this very popular color.

Hope that helps!

I have (and love) both these shades. Like others have said, they're similar, but Entangle is very metallic. Angel Bouquet is a bit darker and a bit more on the pink side.

Entangle tends to come off as lighter on my eyelids than it does in the jar, probably because of the light reflecting off the metallic pigments.

I would personally consider Entangle to be more neutral than Angel Bouquet (because Angel Bouquet has more pink to it to my eye), but they both work well as neutrals.

Hmmmm. Do you all think Angel Bouquet would be the closest equivalent to Entangle without the super metallic finish? Or is there another that might be closer? I think I might want a more low key finish for everyday wear.

Thanks Smile

Angel Bouquet is the closest I've found to Entangle without the metallic finish, but it's possible there's another that I haven't tried yet. Smile

Hm, Entangle is *much* more metallic than Bouquet ... its effect is really that of a gold shadow rather than a peachypink one, isn't it? I guess that settles it, I need some Angel Bouquet ...

Entangle is definitely VERY metallic, although it can be toned down a little bit if applied with a light hand and blended with another shade. I wouldn't say it looks gold at all in person (I absolutely hate gold and Entangle is one of my favorite shadows of all time).

It's definitely a metallic pink-buff-pale cinnamon shade. Very hard to describe, but again, similar to Angel Bouquet if it had a high-shine metallic finish.

But, yes, Angel Bouquet is gorgeous, too. It's one of the few non-LE shades I have multiple (2) full size jars of. I'd say if you don't want a metallic finish, it's a really good choice. Big Grin

Entangle is very much an elemental lustre metalic shade. I like it and wear it regularly. I often wear it as a hightlight color over a more muted light pink, something like a plush, petite four. I wear it over the eyeball area for interest. I wouldn't say it's a gold color, but it definitely draws attention to the eyes as a metalic shade.
I love them both, and both are very different.

I wear angle bouquet regularly as a great light neutral crease color. It has good depth, and a darker base, I guess is how Kristen would describe it.

Glissade shade varies thru year. Winter 1CL/2YL mix
Summer warmer shades
Green eyes, brown hair
40s sensitive skin. Married, two teens ----- Love too many products to begin to name

You should also know that Angel Bouquet looks great foiled (applied wet). It really brings out the pink in it and tones down the smokey undertones considerably.
