hi! first of all i LOVE the new gothic lolita lippies! i'm really into lollypop right now as an everyday lip color on me. i want wallflower now, i think. has anyone gotten the new goth lolita wallflower lippie? kristen says we can stop rubbing rococo on our lips, but that brings me to a Q. is wallflower as light as rococo translates on the lips? i love rococo on my cheeks, but when i did rub it on my lips, it looked very pale and frosted. i can't wear pale lip colors. i also don't do really frosted lippies. so just wondering how much color saturation wallflower has. thanks!

I just received my sample of wallflower and it is wonderful, I think that it is just enough color to be noticed. however, not too much of a color....its grogeous...I would so recommend that you try sample...I think that once again you will be quite pleased! I think it looks better than when we were al rubbing rococo on our lips, however, I do love that blush! good luck Smile

I got my f/s Wallflower on Saturday, and I'm loving it. I never tried Rococo as a lippie, so I can't help there, but Wallflower is (on me, anyway) more of a sheer, buildable color. I applied it over lip balm for a very sheer, glossy look. By itself, I can vary the intensity by applying more layers. I find the saturation & and texture very similar to Lollypop. If you like Lollypop & Rococo, you should love Wallflower! I think it's definitely worth trying a sample. It's divine! HTH!

hi acms

I have the same issue with Rococo when I use it on my lips. I love it on my cheeks but when mixed with lipbalm, the color becaome really sheer, frosty pale pink...Not my thing either.

Well, my Wallflower lippie arrived today and I am thrilled to report that it is GORGEOUS and much more saturated peachy-pink than Rococo+lipbalm. It is a gazillion times prettier!

Totally lip model material!

And eye model, cheek model, probably your whole entire self!

Ooh - and Rococo sure looks FABULOUS on you!

I'm really loving my Lollypop these days - it's my go-to lippie!

My coloring - Fair, naturally curly dark red hair, freckles (light golden), combo to oily skin, use 1W Glissade and/or Voile, although I can and have worn 1Y, 1Y/L, and 1Y/L/00 at different times. Would describe my coloring as neutral - not a classic Autumn, not really a Winter, maybe more of a Late Fall?

Oh geeee, ladies. You are making me blush and wanting to run away Smile I didn't know "lip models" existed.

Wallflower is gorgeous!!! In fact I love all the colorwashes I have (lollypop, pinafore, velveteen) but this is definitely my favorite because it's so unique! And not too dark, not too light, great for anytime Smile

lilita- you sure are lovely! thanks for the pix of wallflower! i know it won't make my lips look as lucious as yours, but the color is great! you are definitely lip model material!

bridget- lollypop is my go-to color right now, too. currently, it has replaced my infared topped with lipblam as my daily. really love the lollypop!

off to order wallflower, and i think i'll pick up the pinafore, too, what the hey.

I just tried my sample of Wallflower and WOW, I love it! It is the perfect peachy-pink, MLBB shade that I was looking for! (Well, maybe a bit on the clear side of MLBB but that's fine with my clear skintone!) Enamor was too bright/dark for everyday, Limbo was too shimmery, but Wallflower is perfect! Big Grin It just adds the nicest touch of peachy-pink color to my lips, with a hint of shine/shimmer. Subtle enough to wear every day (hardly anyone in my office wears lipstick or gloss so I want very subtle colors for the workday) but also colorful enough to give my lips a little more "oomph". Plus it's the perfect warm-but-not-so-warm-it's-orange color on me Smile

Definitely tossing a f/s in my next order!

In comparison, I thought Dolly and Lollypop were both a touch brighter and/or bolder in comparison with my skintone -- they both look gorgeous on me (especially Lollypop! it's my replacement for out-of-stock Infared) but they're not subtle enough to be MLBB Smile
