When Rococo came out I quickly ordered a sample because I love peachy-pink colors like that. I really liked Rococo, so that inspired me to try samples of the other Gothic Lolita rouges, and I went ahead and tossed in a sample of Pinafore and Lollypop too. (Wallflower wasn't out yet, but I just placed an order last night with a Wallflower sample.)

I was worried that these colors might not work for me, since I haven't really liked the reddish blushes I've tried in the past, and I was worried that the pink colors (Dolly/Pinafore) would be too cool for me. I also never ordered the lippies before because I didn't like the original compact packaging.

But I was pleasantly surprised that I liked all the colors! Lollypop is a gorgeous red for my skintone, and since so far the only other red AL lippie I like is the out-of-stock Infared, I ordered a full size of this as a substitute Smile Even Pinafore looked better than most pinks on my lips! And hubby approved of both lippies so they must be good Wink

Dolly and Corset are both pretty bright for me, but I can wear them if I apply them with a fiber optic brush. Wearing these blushes on my pale skin makes me feel like one of the porcelain dolls in hubby's grandma's collection Love (But I suppose that's the point of the "You're A Doll" collection, huh?) Rococo doesn't quite give me that "doll" look, but it is still a lovely color when applied with the FO brush, and I've added it to my rotation of everyday peachy blushes along with Nectar and Rosewood.

Anyone who hasn't tried these should really at least try a sample Big Grin

Wonderful news! And an added bonus that hubby likes them!

I always say take advantage of the samples, even if you don't think it's a color for you. You never know when something you think isn't for you turns out to be perfect. And if it's not your cup of tea, you can always mix it with something else, use it in a fantasy look, or pass it along to a friend who may like it. Samples never go to waste!!

I just got Pinafore, Lollypop and Wallflower full sizes yesterday. (Love getting my orders, like a holiday). Can't decide which I love more. Just keep applying different ones each time it's time for a touch up! All are going to be must haves for me. Oh, also got verve and am trying it today, it's a great blush.

Age 54, I use 2WL voile, porcelaine, tarnish pure hue for eyebrows and eyeliner. My hair is auburn (Henna), eyes brown, skin fair. oily T zone.

I love all of the YAD! rouges & lippies. They do give one that porcelain doll look. I was wearing Corset the other day, and my mom wanted to know what blush I was wearing. Maybe I'll turn her into an AL addict too! TeeHeeHee
