Some of you may recall me saying I wasn't as crazy about my YAD pics I posted as some of the other combos and I was thinking I needed the vintage to go with Pearl and Lolita - that is so true. These colors were MADE to work together! I have no pic, but I wore Pearl on my mobile lid and a touch on my browbone, Vintage above my crease and vee and lined with lolita - wow, wow, wow! My eyes looked soooo green. I loved it.

I also said the Vintage surprised me - I expected it to be yellower and more chartreuse when it's actually got a softness that reminds me of CMS Pine and Rocks! Swampthing. I put some of each on my hand - again no pic - but the vintage is my fave. The Pine is a little lighter and somewhat bluer and the Swampthing is a little greyer - I'd say it's the most subtle of the three, but Vintage is a truer green, still soft, a very very nice green.

54 yrs. old, natural silver highlights. Green eyes, cool skin tone. Level 4 Voile 50/50 C/L is my perfect match foundation. Fave AL product: Nocturne! My YLBB color: Impatiens. Fave eye combos: Blue Coquille with Tide Matte, Pearl with Vintage, Ophelia with Rockbottom, Bouganvillea with anything!

lin,

I haven't explored too many green shadows yet, maybe this would be a good place to start! I know I do plan on getting Pearl since I love pink eye shadows!

Green is probably the hardest color for me to wear. Too yellow, and I look bruised. Too blue and it fights my blue eyes. Vintage is one of the few greens that I can wear well.

sotisse ~ i have the same problem... but vintage is one i can wear without any trouble! and to think everyone at department stores said since i have hazel green eyes that i should wear greens all the time! thankfully i didn't buy any of the colors they suggested cuz they were down right awful... but vintage is one of those greens that just looks great on everyone. glad it works for you too! Smile

I agree, vintage is a great color. I ordered a sample recently (after someone on an earlier post talked about wearable greens) and I love it. I ended up ordering a full size pure eyes lustre Briana, but I like vintage much more. Its on sale this week, too. Razz

Hi! Thought I'd chime in here! I just recently purchased Vintage and I have to say, THIS green came straight from my personal dreamland! I'm a green color person to begin with so I am already partial, but I adore the way Vintage looks with my brown eyes. It's like no other green I've ever had the pleasure of meeting! Smile And now that I have found it, I can't live without it! I plan on incorporating it into as many different eye combos as I can create! Thank you so much Miss K for making my green dreams come true!!! Vintage is a keeper forever and ever and ever!
