I like it like this too, Melissa! Definitely dreamy and ethereal with the halo. Beautiful!

My coloring - Fair, naturally curly dark red hair, freckles (light golden), combo to oily skin, use 1W Glissade and/or Voile, although I can and have worn 1Y, 1Y/L, and 1Y/L/00 at different times. Would describe my coloring as neutral - not a classic Autumn, not really a Winter, maybe more of a Late Fall?

Thanks!

My skin does look rather pale. It must be the setting I am using on the camera because I surely am not that pale in person...though I would love to be Smile

Hey all! I love this thread! I'm a big fan of peacocks! I was just wondering, which eye shadow colors would you match with the colors in this picture?

Thanks!

Rachel, that is one of the most beautiful pics of peacock feathers I have seen! I love how the colors are vibrant but earthy - that's my favorite type of peacock look. Slightly muted - not much, just enough to look real. Brighter versions can be lovely, too, but I really like the bit of earthy bronze and teal and plum.

Anyway, Here are the colors I see in the pic -

Chartreuse- Oberon, Glam Glitters in Kerosene, Rocks in Estranged,

Amethyst- Glam Glitters in Paranoia, Lustre Penelope, Rocks! stillinhollywood

Chocolate Brown - CocoBean Pure Hue, Rocks! in slowburn, rockbottom,

Brilliant Bronze and Gold-Pure Hue in Bronze, EL in Gleam and Seethe, Glam Glitters in Ignite, Hothead, Dazzle, Rocks! in deathvalley, nightshift,

Intense Emerald- Pure Hue in Arbor, Glam Glitters in Slither, Rocks! in venom, poisionivy, lazysod, jigsawfeeling, googoomuck

Bright Teal or Turquoise - Abyss, GlamGlitter in Reverbation and Disintegration, Lustre Isadora, Rocks! bluespark, endlesssea, ozone, moonagedaydream,

Midnight Blue - Pure Hue in Peacoat, Glam Glitter EndlessDeep, Rocks! SpaceOddity, Dominion,

Cobalt- Pure Hue in Cobalt, Glam Glitter StrangeLove, Eclipse, Rocks! in destinationunknown, bluespark,

Black- Pure Hue in Pewter, Matte in Umber, Gel Liner in BlackOut, Rocks in BackinBlack, BlackPlanet, BlackDiamond

SO many options, and of course this is but a partial list. And every person filters color differently in their minds, and has different tastes. Like i said above, Im really drawn to the slightly muted or browned/yellowed aspect of many of the colors. Others will see and prefer clearer, more tropical variations. Both are gorgeous!

Thanks Bridget!

I really want to get as close as possible to the picture colors because I'm going to see if I can use them to "paint" some peacock feathers on my face for a parade I'm in! My town has a St. Patty's Day parade and celebrations the Saturday before St. Patrick's Day (Fake Patty's Day!) and the zoo I volunteer and work at is going to be the head float! We are trying to raise awareness of our Go Green program, so we are going all out crazy! I've been told we are even getting green spray-in hair color! Rather than just turning into the little green alien, I'd like to be a bit more refined! LOL! Regular face paint just doesn't have the depth that AL eye shadow does, so I'm hoping I can make it work!

I'll look at the colors and order samples with my next sample order!

Thanks!

Rachel
