AH! I almost forgot it was my turn.

The challenge this week, I've decided should be something representative of you. Use colours that you feel represent who you are. Shimmery or not, glitter or plain. Light or dark. Do something that you feel DESCRIBES who you are, and then tell us how it describes you!

Hence "challenge". But I know what you mean... because part of me is like "I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT TO USE..." and then the other part is like, "Wait... no, I don't."

I keep thinking I need to get back into the weekly challenges.....but this may not be the week. Describing who I am at the moment - an evil witch on the warpath comes to mind!!

Ha! It could make for a really dramatic, pretty look, though.Wink I think I match that description for about a week and a half out of each month. My poor family.

Nix, cool challenge. I'll try to do this one at some point this week.

I should do it - maybe it'll give me a good laugh. Not tomorrow though, taking Grandma to the first of her orthopedic check ups to see how her fractures are healing. Not sure how we'll get her & the wheelchair in & out of the car with Ian in the backseat!

Cin, you should do it! You could add in some "asphalt" to represent how much you have been on the road to help out your mom and grandma lately. Smile

This challenge sounds fun... I am thinking hard on this one.

Hmmmmm - how does "yippie, the kids are back in school!" translate into eyeshadows?? I'm thinking something sparkly. Smile Or I can do "oh crap, back to nightly homework and after-school activities and meetings - blah".

Cin, I think you'll feel better if you put that evil witch to work in your makeup. I hope things are getting easier with Grandma, but it doesn't seem so?

Here's my "me" look. It's a Divine Intervention Cookie Party!

I used Cookie Party on the inner lid and Divine Intervention on the outer lid. I lined with Ebony.

Divine Intervention is a favorite green of mine and a name that nods to my faith in God. Cookie Party is a yummy coppery brown color with the green color shift that blended perfectly with the green in Divine Intervention. I love to cook and bake (and have participated in some Cookie Parties in my time), so the name also fits well with me personally.

Here's how it sparkles with the flash on:

Here's me playing around in the garden... I thought this shot was fun.

Thanks for looking!

-Melissa

SO SHINY! I love it.
Your looks are always so natural and neutral, something I can never do... I like doing crazy things.

I have trouble shifting out of neutral, Nix. But I am trying... Smile

I am kinda "neutral with a kick" IRL, anyway. SO this fits me. But it takes A LOT of makeup to look this kind of natural... LOL

this is a usually me look, especially with the hair. I usually do wear it pulled back with one of those octoclips. Also, I am playing with a different camera, that gives me more control. The blues "describe me" since I was a girl. Long story short, when I was 4 or 5, my mother would lay my clothes out,and I would always say,"Where is my little blue dress?" This became a constant source of struggle for my mom, but somehow she lived through it.LOL! I wish I had a photo of me and that blue dress.

Here I am wearing:

Primer
Return to Tiffany's inner half
Forget-me-Not outer half
Brownstone crease ( I wished I had gotten this one in FS)
Hilite and inner corner is a non-AL shadow
Peacock liner on top
Return to Tiffany's bottom liner

Myrtle Pure Rouge Blush
FictionRomance lips (I love this color.)

Hope you like it. And thanks for looking, gals!

You look darling in this photo, Sparklekitty! It's perhaps my favorite photo of you yet. I also love your anecdote about the blue dress.

And maybe I do need a "cookie intervention"... LOL

If a cookie intervention means no more cookies... I'm staying away from that. Same with cupcakes.

CA Meeting.
My name is Caitlin and I'm a cupcakes addict.

MOVING ON.

Primer all over lid. I forgot the sylph, even though I had it out. That's what I get for laying everything out before I needed it. SO I put adrenochrome (come on, you all knew I'd use adrenochrome, honestly) all over my lid... then blackdiamond on the inside corners. I used the Peacock liner... which I hadn't used yet and I have no idea why. It's fantastic!

I'm talking so much because I haven't uploaded my pictures onto photobucket yet. Sorry.

My eyes look kind of grey... which is strange. I think it's because it's kind of an overcast day (I always take these pictures in natural lighting, or try to). Also, because the adrenochrome is a silver colour... my eyes are kind of into blending in. BUT they are blue. They just... are reflective?

My look describes me, because it's dark, but shiny. I haven't had the best life (not many people have) but now I'm more optimistic than before. The sparkles are just things I like... and because I like to draw attention to myself all the time. The peacock liner... is because when I'm depressed, I often have strokes of creativity.

Thank you,Laura,Melissa,and Caitlin.

Caitlin, I didn't notice this in the other photo, but loving the wing effect you did!

Everytime I try to have a sweets intervention, there is always something newly sweet to try. I kid you not, there was the limited time "Thingamagig" candy bar, made by the same people who put out the "Whatchamacallit." My tastes in chocolate run cheap. And then recently, Oreo put out a brownie, which I tried. It was an impulse buy at Walgreens.LOL! My name is Natalie and I am a chocoholic!
