Since I had such fun with these colors, I present them to you for this weekly challenge! I can't wait to see what you all do with them.


Aqua Nightmare : Technicolor bright aqua pearl sheen with divinely bright aqua sparks.


Snapdragon- An iridescent red/blue medium shimmer.

As always, use as many colors as you like

Purple Princess could be fun with these two!

Hmm, so I did a neat look with aqua nightmare and blackangel. Aqua nightmare outer 2/3 of lid, blackangel in crease and "v". I own regal and Peony. I think those two mixed would be good as a sub for snapdragon. Any ideas on where to put that pinky-purple color though, given my above look with blackangel and aqua nightmare? I usually only wear one really bright color at a time.

Maybe the inner 1/3 of the eyelid?

Awww, but that's part of the fun of the makeup challenge -- figuring out where to put the different colors! And seeing if everyone who participates in the challenge puts the colors in a different place or not

Also, for anyone new to the makeup challenge, if you don't have Aqua Nightmare or Snapdragon, feel free to substitute any similar colors! You can also add extra colors if you like!

Meh, but I was really at a loss here. Thanks Zhariel! I considered doing that briefly but had already but the peony lightly on my brow which looked strange to say the least

Hi ladies! I'm in limbo over this look...The colors are fun, and of course I love purples! I didn't have Aqua Nightmare, so I subbed Severina (which is a more green teal). It definitely needed some gel liner (but I was lazy!)

The pics were taken in natural light.

Eyes:
- Snapdragon all over lid
- Orinoco inner lid
- Regal outer vee
- Purple Princess outer vee and lower outer half
- Dragonfly lower inner half
- Severina close to lower lashline
- Black Mascara

I love this combo on you. Colors you have never worn before. I love the orinoco combined with snapdragon--really creative combo. Haha, looking at these pics, I am really glad I ordered orinoco last minute, and now must get Snapdragon soon! However, I could never pull off the darker and different colored liner under my eye as you did due to my eyeshape. Just goes to show that different eyeshapes really require different application techniques!

P.S. I like it even without liner. I guess you could have lined the top with purple princess. But I think looks without liner can look very very soft and ethereal like this one.

HL- I loooove Orinoco! It reminds me alot of Amelie, yet without the 'silver' tone and more pinky peach! And the finish is like a luster and a little like a plush...Hope you like it!

Looks great Naomi! A little liner would make it more dramatic, but it is soft and pretty as it is!

I also love Orinoco, I've always thought it reminds me of Mallow (Spring Solstice), except Orinoco is more of a pink-peach and Mallow is gold-peach. But you're right, Amelie is similar to both except it's silver-peach. I love both of them -- lately I've been on a kick of wearing Orinoco on the lid with a red-brown like Cascade in the crease! Soft and pretty and makes my blue eyes pop! But Orinoco is so versatile it'd go with almost anything!

I had fun with this one! Alternated eyes. Only added Lagoon for crease.

frank'd shimmery pale pink on inner 1/2 of lid, snapdragon PH on outer 1/2 of lid, viburnum SS in crease and under lower lash line; aqua nightmare GL wetlined on upper lash line and halfway under lower lash line; breathless RR on cheeks, rosebud NCC on lips

Snapdragon can be very subtle or very bright. I love it I love how you used Aqua Nightmare for a liner!

Gorgeous Tanya! I like using Aqua Nightmare as a liner but I only use it on the upper lid since I can't get it to look right otherwise. I love how you winged it out and used it on part of the lower lid, mabye I will have to try something similar!

Z, it's been so long since I've played w/snapdragon I'd forgotten what a versatile colour it is! thx for posting this challenge - made me dig out some of my "oldies" and remember why I got 'em in the first place (now I'm wondering how snapdragon would look foiled, or over carbon as a base, or both...! lol)

GG, every time I brightline now it makes me think of you I don't usu wetline under my lower lash line, but today it just seemed like the right thing to do, and it worked much better than I thought it would (I'm back to being kinda shaky again, makes applying eyeliner LOADS of fun, nevermind taking pix ) I bet "winging" the top line would look gorgeous on you, esp if you paired aqua nightmare w/one of the warmer peachy-pinks you look so divine in (I'm thinking maybe orinoco L'orchidee or mallow SS angel bouquet GL or even tea rose PH)...
