Okay, Zhariel asked me to post a challenge.

Lately, I've been busy, so I haven't had enough time to really put on make up in the morning. I'm sure some of you have felt the same lately.

SO, this week's challenge is to do something neutral and/or soft. Something that's easy for you to put on... so only a couple colours, don't need primer... just keep it soft, light, and easy!

You know I'm up for this "challenge." I'm looking forward to seeing others' neutral/soft looks. I get stuck in a rut sometimes and need new ideas.

Love this theme! Cause I have been experimenting a lot with the Plushes. Lately my equation for easy and beautiful is: Eye Plush + Bete Noire = Fun Eye Look

Today I used just two colors for the eyes: Well Suited Eye Plush + Colette BN

The lips are Adorable liner and Darling topped with a dab of Starbright Mineral Shimmer in the middle of the lower lip. Blush is Glorious Venus (blend).





Oh, and I picked up some fun nail polish at Walgreens last night. The Sinful Colors are on sale 2/$1.99. This fun matte purple is called "Dream On" and it reminds me "Harold and His Purple Crayon"... you can see it a bit in the first pic.

Well, would ya look at that - looks like I did the challenge without even knowing it! LOL

Hazelnut outer vee and lower lash lightly
Chocolate Mousse to line upper and tightline lower

Katrina, did you cut your hair shorter? It looks shorter in the last pic... I like the color combo, pink negligee is one of my favorite plushes

I did a before and after for my blog, so, since the eye look is definitely neutral I thought I'd post it here, too. I used...

Startle EL allover, then Window Shopping in the crease area. I just used a dark grey pencil under the lower lashes and some black mascara on the upper lashes. Very simple.

MissTat - no, I didn't cut my hair again - it was really humid yesterday and my layers really shrunk up and out if you know what I mean.

I'm glad people are actually doing this. I was so afraid no one would.

AND I did this... Sylph all over lid, window shopping on lid, skyscraper in the outside corners and on my brow slightly. No primer. Black mascara. Breathless on my cheeks (absolutely perfect. I'm loving ALL the sonic rouges a lot). Then I had... I think pout on my lips. Metamorphose on cheeks and under eyes. OH. I put white riot in my inner corners and had some of the sparkle go under my eye... so that's the random glitter there.







Soft and boring, but I liked it.

There's nothing boring about you, Nix! Love the challenge this week. So glad I was able to participate this week. It's a good one!

I just kind of got the feeling that we had enough of those really intense fun ones... and personally, I've been feeling lazy with make up... and it seems a few other people have too... SO I just figured this would work for people. It's fast and easy.

Everyone is doing such a great job with these "easy" eye looks. I especially like Runaround Sioux's Eye Plush + Bete Noire. I haven't worn much eyeshadow this week. However today I did pop out some non-AL stuff to play with. I have such a huge collection of different brands, I sometimes look at my other stuff, and go OMG,you poor little neglected thingies! Everyone looks so nice!

Doesn't get much easier than this. LOL. I literally put this on just to pick up the kids from camp and run to the grocery store. Oh, and I didn't "do" my hair today - please excuse.

You look really nice, Katrina! I agree, Pink Pearl is great on you. And so is the blush/lippie. I like your hair that way, actually... You should not "do" it more often I love the curls.
