Sorry ladies, just realized I was up. Had no clue what to do so I asked the hubby.

This week's challenge is purple and glitter. Use a purple shadow (or maybe a purple lip?) and some glitter somewhere - loose rules here. Enjoy!!!

Woot woot! I love me some purple.I just bought a purple Mac lipstick and had Lilly dressed in purple leggings today.

Oooh my first challenge. My order should be here any day now! And I know I ordered a lot of purples so I should be good Cant wait to see what people come up with! I spent last night going back through the weeks and checking them out, so many awesome ones. This week will be great for Fall, because purple is one of those lesser known colors of the season, but deserves a lot of attention!

Okay...bear with me. LOL this is my first challenge as a makeup newbie AND its super early in morning but I was awake waiting for hubby so I thought Id attempt it.

In person you can see A LOT more glitter in it. Or at least to me it was a lot of sparkle lol but Im new to these more intense looks ^_^ but its got purple soooo I thought Id post it.

I also have NO foundation in second photo >.< dont laugh! And my camera really sucks, especially at self portraits. hehe anyway I used divine intervention on the inner part of my eye, and still in hollywood on the outside and crease. I played with doing the purple wet too, helped darken it up. I was amazed! But then I blended the crap out of it lol Ive got some glitter on the way so Ill attempt another look later in the week and see if Im more successful....OH and I used catwalk on my lips with some clear gloss over the top.

Cin - Id love to do next weeks challenge! Yay now I get to think of a whole bunch of ideas! Ill look through previous weeks too and try to avoid repeating anything. woohoo!

It's been going on for so long now - 77 weeks already, whew! - you'll have a lot to scroll through! If there's colors you love but have been chosen previously, pick 'em anyway. There's always new ladies eager to join in on the challenges, and some that are a little gun shy, patiently awaiting their favorites to be selected.

AFEcoMom, LOVE that shape you created. I agree, capturing sparkles on camera is so difficult. Argh. Can't wait to see your challenge post. Yes, don't worry if it is a repeat...many times many of us don't have the time to post for a challenge, so having the opportunity again is nice.

So, here's my answer to this weeks challenge... for more details, check out the FOTD post! The Colors that I used were Girls Night Out, Butterfly, londondungeon, and liquid liner.

I really love that look, Dru. The richness of the purple you used on the lid really comes through strongly in the photos, I'm really tempted to pick up that color!
