Be Queen for a Day. Elizabeth, Victoria, Cleopatra. Heck – be Freddie Mercury if that’s what you’re feeling!! (Side note – Michael is a major Queen fan, and you can bet I rib him about knowing ALL the words to ALL their songs. But man, talk about a composer, a big voice, a PLEASANT voice, and STAGE PRESENCE. Freddie filled Wembley more than the tens of thousands of fans did, I swear. End side note.) Compose your face and your bearing royally. Perfect a haughty look, a powerful look, a benevolent look. Wear a crown of gold and jewels, may flowers, velvet and pearls, fine silks if you wish. Bindi? If you’ve got one, bring it out. Do up your face, don appropriate apparel if it pleases your grace, snap some pics and post. Mention your own Royal inspiration, include a pic of him or her if you want.

i was actually thinking about this theme last night... something super glam like david bowie looks or freddie! they sure could pull off some amazing looks! (hmmm, i'm thinking i need to borrow a few wigs from some friends)

AAAhhh, Freddie Mercury - what a voice! For many years of my life concert tickets were part of the weekly budget, but I never saw Queen, although I had all their albums and must confess, the greatest hits CD is in my car! I remember whent he movie Wayne's World came out my oldest son thought it was so cool he bought it - you should have seen the look on his face when I walked through the house singing along with Bohemian Rhapsody!

I've always LOVED Freddie Mercury's voice and the band Queen. Their music almost had a genre all their own. They were so innovative and different.

Just talking about them makes me want to go out and buy their greatest hits album.

My friend & I use to ROCK to Queen! Fat bottomed girl was a favorite! As we were (not the naughty nanny part, just the fat bottomed!) Hee, hee!

i had all their cd's till my car got broken into and my cd case was stolen. now i just have the greatest hits. hmmm, i'm gonna have to download some music today....
