Ok... I thought this would be really fun and potentially crazy, hopefully some people from the FOTD's will get their butts in here. :P

I would like to propose this idea:

Pick some colors, could be your favorites, ones youve never tried before, or ones that you might not normally put together (really, anything!) but, you must then use the NAMES of those colors to make a sentence. You can add words, but the names have to be in the sentence! It could be a joke, a poem, a story, anything written. Then, of course, post pics and the sentence.

For example, my FOTD was called "A Cricket, Unicorn and Tiger Walk Into A Bar" and this is what it looked like:

Here's a FOTD from Integgy called Destination Planetearth: Bring Flowers and Candy

So, it might make your brain work a little, but I think it will be fun. :P

Alternately, as I realize some people might be worried about being able to come up with a sentence,
you can do your make-up all Halloween-y!!

So. Two options!! Have fun!

heh-heh. heh-heh. You said Hallo-weeny!

Anyhoo...
I know of a cool title for a FOTD... it's not a exactly sentence by the rules of grammar. But I have been wanting to do this look, just so I could post the title, not because the colors necessarily go together. Your challenge is coming at just the right time!

Yes!! That's the ticket!! Smile It doesn't matter if the colors 'go together' or anything. Big Grin I just want to see how many phrased and things we can get out of Miss K's 500+ shades and such! Plus, don't forget that Lippies, Rouges, foundations, and liners all have names!! Big Grin Anything Aromaleigh is game. Wink

Your Soul Takes Flight in order to venture to the Orinoco River, where Air and Light will be your most cherished companions.

Today was my Grandpa's funeral, so I chose these colors to honor his passing. He was romantic, loud, gruff, and very intelligent, all traits that were passed on to his many children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Anywho... Here is a picture of the Orinoco River (which is in Venezuela) that I thought was pretty...

And pics of my look will come soon.. I promise. Big Grin I'm on the way out the door... Soo.. I didnt want to lose all this stuff I wrote.

This was after the day was over, I had driven about 100 miles round trip, a little crying... :P Thank you, AL for keeping up with me!!

Soul Takes Flight in crease
Orinoco on lid
Air & Light on browbone and lower lash line
All that over the Eye & Lip Primer

Bad Gal Lash black mascara
1PL foundation, a tiny dash of hibiscus on my cheeks and in this pic I was wearing Cakewalk.

Here's my Victorian era love story:

Colette felt beauteous wrapped in her lush mink coat as she set out to meet her beloved Peter (pronounced Pee-Tah, of course Wink) for a plush, romantic rendevous. The rain had turned to mist and the fog was settling in the valley. As she approached the meeting spot she gasped as she saw him there, sprawled out on a rich tapestry, looking adorable.....

in his birthday suit. Big Grin

Mink Coat on brow and inner corners
Fog inner 1/2 lid
Mist outer 1/2 lid, lower lashline
Colette in crease
Plush Romantic outer vee, outer lower lash
Tapestry to wetline
UD 24/7 pencil in Zero on waterline
Beauteous on cheeks
Adorable lip pencil to fill in lips topped with a Rimmel lipstick in Birthday Suit

Sorry all pics with flash today - it's rainin'

*hugs Carolyn* I'm sorry about your grandpa. Your make up looks great even after all of that.

Katrina, your story cracked me up.
Here's my sentence:

My 107th personalitycrisis in 24 Hours in a Londondungeon.

Primer and Le Mystere #107 all over lid (and a bit of the brow)
Personality crisis all over lid
24 Hours in the middle and to the corner and brow.
Londondungeon at the end and on the brow a bit.

Sundaygirl (on cheeks)

SORRY! I'll stop now.

Ian wanted me to be a farmer, then today told me he was going to the "Vampire Store" to buy me vampire teeth. So perhaps I'll just pull a pretty dress out of the closet and be a vampire. It's so much easier than getting a costume.

He was watching "Max & Ruby" today, and Max was a vampire, if you're wondering where he got that idea from.

Hehe, that's cute!

Being a vampire is indeed easier, since really all you need is the teeth, red food coloring and corn syrup.. Or another kind of sticky, goupy bloodlike stuff. Big Grin And you get to be beautiful since vampiresses are always perfection incarnate.

I don't know what I am dressing up as, if anything. I usually like to get just dressed up in general if I am not going as something specific. Razz

Love all the looks ladies!

For Halloween I'm working on a period Medieval garb and adding a twist nymph. Made a autumn colored wire circlet that I have beads and metalwork leaves hanging from it. And, of course, I'm using AL makeup to top it all off. Still haven't figured out how I'm doing my hair... I'll be sure to put pics up!

Cin: Being one of the few goths that went to my undergrad college and co-founder of 'Goth Fridays', I have a recipe for fake blood that's edible. It consists of Kayro syrup, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, water, and red food coloring. Use the water and coloring to consistency. It's pretty good with the cocoa powder in it and with the brown color mixed with the red, you get a pretty convincing bloody red-brown color. ::chuckles evilly:: We were even known to leave containers of it labeled O+ and the like in the community fridges... No wonder most of the people on campus didn't like us... Wink

Edit: So.. after talking to Erika... apparently, in our recipe, there's no Kayro syrup in it... it gave it an odd taste. So just powdered sugar, cocoa powder, water and food coloring.

Oh, I did a great look today, but I'm going to have trouble coming up with a sentence for it! xD

I'm probably going to be a gothy vampire as well, since I didn't plan a specific costume (and I'm up for any excuse to wear my leather corset, really). xD I don't know if I'll pick up some teeth, maybe if I can somehow get to the Halloween store before Saturday night.

Dru: Thanks for that recipe for fake blood! I'm going to have to try it, if I can get to Freddies tomorrow. Wink

I love my makeup bold, and while I think neutrals look good on others, I hate them on myself.
