Ooh! This is my first week posting a challenge. Hopefully this one will getting you thinking...

I'm calling it "What's in a Name?"

For this week's challenge, create your look from colors that start with the first initial(s) of your name. You can use your actual name or your screen name. It's all good.

Example: Runaround Sioux = Russet PH + Snow PEF

The way I figure it, Aromaleigh has so many colors that there's something for everyone from "Adobe" to "Zinnia."

I don't think there are any colors that start with K (but I could be wrong).

I'll have to stick with N, U, T, C then. LOL - should be an interesting combo!

Oh, just found a K. I have Kiki and have never used it. Might be a good week to give it a try.

Fun! For anyone else with the same letters, here are all eyeshadows from the permanent collections and En Pointe that apply to me (I didn't check the older limited editions, there may be more there):

Even though J is a pretty common letter for first names, looks like there's not as many eyeshadow choices for it! In fact, they're all pinkish and greenish colors, hmmm.....

I just knew Girl Geek would be all over the research portion of this challenge! LOL

Can't wait to see what you put together. I just did my Russet + Snow look with Metamorphosis (Melissa)... no pics yet. But it was fun to search through the stash and play a bit with a seemingly random combo.

lol, am I that predictable?

Normally I prefer shadows sorted by color (like the Rocks page), but this is one time it was helpful to have them sorted alphabetically (like the Pure Hues)!

I'm down to Teddy Wisp, Tapestry, and Marigold (unless my en pointe samples arrive soon, then I might be able to use Terpsichore and Myrtha)

Hehe, I am either TAB or AAB. Otherwise known as TB by many. I love it that my initials are a horrible disease. Tea, allspice and bronze I geuss. Oooh, or brownsugar. I've never worn that one.

Newrose is another N. Hmm, I think looking at the rocks would be your best bet. They have the most varied names. Nightshift is another, Nude Frost, and there is nowherefast glitter if you have it...

oooh, this is SO different, how fun! only I don't have anywhere near enough R colours to make "TLR" easy - room service, re-gifted, and rockbottom...DQ red if I really stretch things LOL maybe I'll try this w/MP instead, I've gobs of colours that start w/M and P

I pulled out a bunch of colors but can't decide which way I want to go. Hmmm, lemme sleep on it. Oh wait, that's right, I don't sleep anymore! Let me wait til tomorrow, I should say.

So, lets see... my initials are BRB. After searching through my samples and fullsizes, I only had about 2 or 3 R colors. This is the best I could come up with.

Intergalactic all over lid as base
Romance Pure Hue patted over that lightly
Bette Bete Noire in crease
backinblack Rocks! to darken crease and add some sparkle
Black pencil to line and whala!



And ofcourse, every full face picture I took came out terribly blurry!

This is clever.
I just pray that I have colours that match my initials: CW.

Beautiful FH! You look great in pink and black. So my middle name begins with M. Yeah, I don't know why I was putting an A in there. Anyways, I am going to use both my first names, so either AMB or TMB, and the colors will be Tea Rose, Alexandrite, Maiden, and Blackangel.

Ahhh, I've got to start over! I had my colors all set and then I remembered I'm married and have a new last name. LOL - Back to the drawing board. All I know is with "K", I'm stuck with Kiki as one of my colors.
