Alright everyone, this is my first challenge so hopefully yall like it! I was outside the other day and was in awe over the lovely fall colors. There is just a lot more of it (and much more vibrant) here in Washington than back where I lived in California.

So I decided, after being inspired by this, to make the challenge FALL COlORS. And since its early in the season, and the trees are in transition, feel free to use green Smile Also browns, golds, reds, yellows...anything vibrant! I really enjoyed using the elemental lustres for this challenge!

So here is my take on the challenge. I did this look after being inspired by the trees but just decided that itd be great for the challenge! I chose to do one eye with purples too because I was making another attempt on last weeks challenge, and I also think purple is an amazing underrated fall color!
On the left (my right eye) I used Eggplant on the outer half, Moss as a liner (shows up a bit grey in the pictures..bummer!) and the inner half and brow I used EL Wonder.

On the right I used Moss again as a liner...trying to show the transition from greens to golds. I used EL Gleam all over the lid, then EL Blaze on out portion, with EL Ardent applied dry on the upper part/brow.

I loved how both turned out, but was disappointed with how Moss photographed (being matte and all). Id LOVE to Moss as an Elemental Lustre!!! Also, I had no other makeup on LOL and I really need to sugar and/or thread my eyebrows again bc they are getting uber bushy!

Anyway, Ive typed enough. Enjoy! Im very excited to see what all of you come up with! And thanks for letting me pick this challenge!

Wow, that is so beautiful! I really like the eye with copper and green. What an innovative way to use the elementals (with a matte liner)! You really made a beautiful shape with the elementals. I am so stealing this idea.

Well, I did another one today that was inspired by the tree in my front yard and my burning bush which is now shades of purple, red and green. I don't really care for how it came out, but here it is anyway. IRL you can see more of the gold.

Glowing Luna inner corners
Oceanrain inner 1/3rd
Astonish middle 3rd and over Oceanrain a bit
Fragile Charms outer 1/3rd and crease
Vigil of Change outer corners and crease
Cocoa Mauve outer vee, lower lashline
Chocolate Mousse to line
UD 24/7 pencil in 1999 on waterline
Glazed rouge
Fallingfromgrace lippie under Rimmel Birthday Suit to tone it down
Covergirl Lash Blast mascara

I agree, so unique, very delicate yet complex, you've really improved since you first got here! Yay! Well, that is one of the points of this forum. When I first started out, I barely knew where my crease was. TeeHeeHee Great job!

Thanks GG and Tally. I do have more "not so bad" days than I used too. Smile Today I'm not so happy - I think the contrast between the lid and the crease is just too much for me.

I'm LOL about not knowing where your crease was Tally. When I got here I had no idea how to do makeup, let alone that you were to have a lid color, crease color, liner, outer vee. The forum is so helpful - exactly why I often post my failures or if something looks just a bit "off" - you ladies always chime in with some good advice (even if I don't always appear to be taking it, I do try).

I did this challenge a couple days ago but am just now getting around to posting it!! :P It turned out less like I wanted it to, but that's ok.

I used a primer all over, then put on Divine Intervention on the inner half of my lid, and just a smidge on the outer crease.

Then I used Ego Gleam on the outer half of my lid and up into the crease, followed by a light lining sort of action with Torment Next, I used Golden Chrysalis on browbone. And finally, on one eye, I mixed up a glitter paste with moisturizer and Morgaine then lined with it. Then, I used the glitter paste to smudge into my eyebrows, and then on the other eye I went all over with it... Kinda looks weird but it was very sparkly!! Smile Here are pics.

Oh, I was going to say this:

I was inspired by, of course, the fall leaves, but here in WA there is still green all over the place, but the leaves in my apartment complex are really bright yellow and gold, with some brown/rust spots, so THAT is why I chose the dark olivey deep green, gold and lovely dark shimmery burgundy that turns dark bronzed brown on me. :P And of course, Morgaine because it's orange and green!!! Punkins!! :P

Finally got around to doing this...

Primer and suspectdevice all over lid.
Neon Lights in the inside corner... Hustle and Bustle and Nightshift in the middle... then Taintedlove on the outside corners...

Yes, it looks really messy, because I put the colour under my eyes too...

Sundaygirl on my cheeks.
