I love flowers, so since it's my turn to pick the challenge this week I picked....The Bird of Paradise flower. It's native to South Africa,and represents joyfullness, if not paradise itself. I hope that these photos are enough to keep you gals busy with some colorful looks!

Eyes:
TFSI
Psycho-Candy - applied to upper eyelid and into lower crease, but not right at lash line
Funkytown - applied dry along lower lash line, then went over again with a damp brush
Italian Ice - applied widely in crease up onto browbone and in inner corners of eye
Pure Opal - applied right under eyebrows
Coney Island - applied dry to inner 3/4 of lower lashline, then went over again with a damp brush
PlanetEarth - applied to outer 1/4 of lower lashline, then went over again with a damp brush
black eyeliner - upper and lower waterlines
black mascara - 2 coats

I'm ashamed to say that I will probably not be able to participate in this one... unless I wake up early tomorrow and throw on some make up. I'll try my best, because this challenge is AWESOME.

I'm gonna put the chicken in the oven, wash my hands real good and then do this challenge. Wee!

Yeah, no energy to participate now, sadly. In the process of moving. Yuck! I love birds of paradise, though. We used to have them in our garden in Miami.

I really want to participate in this, but my step-grandpa passes away two days ago and I've been dealing with all of this (funeral, wake, etc...)
Maybe I'll do a look anyways even after the week is done

ok... So, I didn't do it last night, but did this morning. I don't have pics because they would look awful.

I'll tell you what I used and perhaps recreate it tomorrow and take pics. I'm still getting used to my new apartment and the make-up is not decided on where to live.

Ok. Envision this if you can....

all over lid: Le Mystere 105 "A plummy mauve frost with golden and pink shimmers within. Very beautiful!"
Lined on bottom with Italian Ice HITC and also on outer corner of lash line.
Agent orange in crease and blended up a little onto browbone.
Coney Island very lightly as highlight under brows and then dabbed lightly in the inner corner of the eyes.

I forgot mascara this morning; used rococo blush, metamorphosis powder(which is shimmery/slightly sparkley on me), and my regular foundation. Sassy lightly on lips.

I was at a golf tournament all day today (10 am to 8 pm, ugh!) for work and now my eyemakeup looks like poo. It was cold (cold!! 64-66 degrees!) and rained intermittently. And was most importantly 40 degrees cooler than last week! Sheesh! Anyway. Pics tomorrow maybe. I also have to get ready to go to my grandmother's funeral, which is on Wednesday but I will be going over with my mom on Sunday to help my grandpa get the house ready. Anyway. If you haven't read my post in "This thing called life" then that's sort of what's happening. \
